I was wondering how the tie worked for the winning percentage. I take it ties count as a half win then? |
Yes. |

The last time the NFL had a tie was in week 11 of 2008. Dow Jones had won the tourney by week 10 so it didn't matter. The tie before that was in 2002, when there wasn't even a Football's Future to have a survivor pool on.
Per Wikipedia, there have been eighteen ties since 1974. Only five of those have occurred in the last twenty years.
So, yeah, it's a bit rare. |
On a survivor pool I run on another website, someone did take the Eagles in that game four years ago and since I have the same rule as virtually every other survivor pool were ties are losses, that person was eliminated. _________________

Maybe why brass hates the rule isn't the elimination part but the part that makes Woz obligated to point and laugh? |

I was just being dramatic.
But the pointing and the laughing...it hurt my internet feelings .
In all seriousness this is just all good and fun. The rules are the rules, and I don't have a problem with them at all. And the 49ers should have lost that game anyway. _________________ Broncos GDT '12/'11 | jonnyj20 wrote: | | broncosfan07 wrote: | | Not having 20 pages of Dumbledore's Army go ballistic kind of helps | It wouldn't have been long until the Tebowites started calling Non-Tebow loving Bronco fans 'Mudbloods' |

So despite all those white-knucklers today, we might not even have anyone knocked out this week. _________________
