Football is back baby!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Where: Bank of America Stadium
Date: 8.11.2012
Time: 6:00 PM CT
Network: NFL Network and ABC 13 Houston
After coming off our most successful season in franchise history, I can speak for all Texans fans when I say that I am excited football season is back! Obviously the starters will play 2 series tops, but I am excited to see our backups and those that will be competing for roster spots and backup positions.
Which players are you interested in seeing? _________________

yes!!!!!!!! Ah it feels so good to see a gameday post lol anyway what I'm looking forward to is:
-Schaub putting together a successful drive ending in the endzone(what I'm looking forward to most)
-Offensive Line (more importantly Butler/Newton)
-Martin/Posey/Jean (more excited about Martin)
-Kicker competition
-CB (Harris, Carmichael)
-Mercilus, Loiseau, Braman, Pleasant
-Keenum
-Forsett and Grimes
Well I basically put every player on the team lol but I cant wait for Saturday! _________________

What I'm looking forward to seeing most:
* No Injuries.
* Seeing the 1st team offense operate efficiently in the air and on the ground and score a TD.
* Whitney Mercilus getting some meaningful backup time, was he worth a 1st round pick.
* Can Caldwell and Butler handle their new starting positions, and seeing Brooks and Newton getting some meaningful snaps.
* KJ, Harris, and Carmichael.
* Garrett Graham, can he play in the NFL or not.
* Forsett and Grimes.
* Keshaun Martin, Posey, or LeStar Jean, can any of them step up and play in the NFL. |

For the record, the game is this Saturday, on the 11th. Not the 18th. _________________ Welcome to Houston, DeAndre Hopkins! |

A guy to watch in the pre season is TJ Yates and there are several reasons why:
1. If he lights it up, then we can take our time resigning Schaub while having a back up plan
2. If he lights it up, we can possibly use him as trade bait for maybe a 2nd or so once we lock Schaub
3. If he plays horrible then we need to resign Schaub as soon as we are confident his foot is healed
either way i think the coaches are going to want to see what he can do with a real off season to prepare....he was with 1st team through everything until training camp.
I know he didnt set the world on fire but he is the texans all time leader in playoff victories He went from not being active to starting and handled himself very well. If he shows something this pre season he has to be in our plans for the future as either our QB or a nice trade piece _________________

Willing to wager that Newton only plays a drive at most. He is up there as one of the most indispensable players in the NFL; If Newton gets hurt, then this sleeper team suddenly looks to Jimmy Clausen to start; If Clausen starts, you can pretty much put the Panthers on the clock for the #1 pick in the 2013 draft.
Newton means too much to the Panthers to put him at risk. _________________

Yup I bet if the OL shows any weakness he'll get pulled. Especially after what happened to Kolb in the HOF Game. _________________

The only injury we'd like to see is ET's ego getting bloodied in the corner. That's fun for the whole family! Hey man, does your kid still fit into his awesome onesie?
Good times. Football is upon us. Hopefully it's a nice, easy introduction to the season. Jazzed to see how Kuechly looks in live action. I think that kids going to be a stud. Hopefully the returners on our DLine have figured out how to play some football. Last year they were worse than ... need a joke. ET's knees are too easy and good lord nobody has ever played that bad in the history of football. Uh ... worse than ... ET's ability to form a coherent statement after a shot and a half of whiskey. Lightweight.
BOOM!
Here's to a good season, everybody!
Also, all your moderators smell bad. I mean, seriously, what the hell is a "lork" anyway? _________________
