Andy Reid made a statement that it indeed was drug related. Very Very sad to hear.

A testament to Andy Reid: they came from all over the country, Goodell, Berman, Mooch, childress, spags, harbs, and tons of former birds

I know football is the farthest thing from important in a situation like this. But hopefully the team can rally around this and win the big game this year. The emotions Andy would feel getting the trophy knowing his son is watching down on him would be remarkable.

That reminds me of the Bengals back in 09. They had to rally around Mike Zimmer and the loss of his wife and then the death of Chris Henry, led them to the playoffs as well.

We already got this locked down with Andy.

I don't mean to be a a-hole but if it didn't happen when JJ passed I doubt it will now.

Big difference, we went from the great Jim Johnson calling our defense to Sean McDermott...Also we had a ton of weaknesses on that team (LB, S, CB, OL) This is a better team, and we don't lose a playcaller.

Just in case anyone else wants to also sport a Garrett Reid RIP ribbon, our very own Kiltman hooked this up:
