Okay....so regardless of whether he's making the reads slow and simplifying and locking on his 1st read or if he's locked in on the proper read and knowing where to go with the ball...the problem is he takes his snap and his eyes go there right away. He's telegraphing his throws and thats keying defenders on where he's going with the ball. No matter what the reason, its not okay and its going to lead to some serious turnovers. He has to work defenders with his eyes. |
Again.....which plays did he lock in? I only see one.
There are other plays where you could clearly see him hold the safety as well.
Or are you guys referring to him in practice or something?
Hopefully on Friday we see more plays where he has to go thru multiple progressions.
@pope137 ......question, throwing at the blitz/free rusher is usually more effective right? I always assumed this, but in our last game I'm pretty sure I heard the commentator suggest otherwise. |
Normally you wanna quick game the blitz meaning slants shallow flat concepts of that nature, and yes you want to quick game the area of the field that the defense is blitzing from. |

If Tannehill starts week 1, it is because the Dolphins do not think Garrard is going to be able to come back from his injury. If they have the intention of giving Garrard the chance that he has earned to this point, than Moore might start week 1.

yes and the receiver has to recognize and be on the same page.

I dont agree, if Garrad is back they may allow him to start, he is missing alot in TC, so I am wondering if Garrad will be in the mix at all, as for Moore vs Tanney Tanney is looking good, ( I am not 100% for it) butI would not be surprised to see Tanney week-1 unless something changes.

Tanneyhill is not ready to start, plain and simple. Matt Moore earned it last year, and deserves the shot.
QB is not the issue on this team right now, and the starter is irrelevant with what is surrounding them right now.
