| Surprised they didn't wait until after the 75-man cut down to IR Fletcher. |

Yeah, it says something when a team is willing to expose you to waivers for the sole purpose of opening a roster spot for a camp body for 2 weeks.
Davis is terrible and has no business in the NFL |

In this case, what I think it says is that they desperately need bodies, because the injury list is a mile long. |

Other than TE and OL they don't have a ton of injuries. Maybe FB but that's easy enough to solve by dumping Kettani and replacing him with another body.
I doubt anyone will pick Fletcher up (and he's easy enough to replace if he does go elsewhere), it just wouldn't have been the first move I'd have made to open up a spot. |

Those two positions are pretty ravaged, though. Four tight ends and five offensive linemen being unable to go is about as bad as it gets. They need to bring in another tackle or two, but they can probably get by with Silvestro and Urban at tight end for a couple days while Gronk and Hernandez work the kinks out. They're a little thin at the DT position too, with three guys out, but I doubt they'll address that spot. They just need to get some healthy bodies on the OL until Mankins passes the adjustment period and Vollmer can hopefully start practicing. |

I'm starting to get the feeling we won't see Vollmer at all this summer. |

| I said when the news broke Fletcher got hurt, that I doubt he will be back. Stand by that statement. Someone who is continually hurt like him is worth the roster spot IMO. Would be a different story if he were the starter. |

I'm surprised the Giants didn't snag him to get back at BB for the Jake Ballard thing. _________________

Or at all for the foreseeable future maybe. That back's been on him for over a year. And he played badly, with all that missed time. _________________

Considering how bad Cannon has reportedly been at OT, the Pats could be in a bit of trouble without Vollmer |
