I don't give a damn if it's entertaining, I just want to see no injuries. |

This. Pre-season games are never enjoyable for me to watch because I spend the entire time worrying about injuries. Nothing is more deflating that spending all of the off-season thinking of how much your team has improved and then see the team lose 3 or 4 key players to season ending injuries before the season.
Any long time Patriots fan can remember clearly the last pre-season game of the 1989 season when the Pats lost 3 defensive starters (and 2 of their best players) to season ending injuries (Andre Tippett, Garin Veris and Ronnie Lippett). It would be the equivalent of the 2012 team losing Wilfork, Mayo and Chung all at once - or even a bit worse.
It's fun to watch the 4th string guys fight for jobs and it's great to have football back, but the less I see the top 40 players on the roster the better. |

I say all Pats and Saints fans get together and root for a Patriots-Saints Superbowl. Boy, would that be one for them all..... _________________

What I want to see from this game is,
1. The running game. I've been waiting for over a year to see Vereen in action. I didn't find myself impressed by him when we drafted him last year. Looking at the same highlights and tapes, I came out more impressed this time around. Can anybody explain that? Also want to see what Bolden looks like on the field.
2. The new pass rush and how they package the DEs/OLBs from the 4-3 to 3-4. We've never enjoyed such a plethora of pass-rushers before. Odds are, one will pan out for us.
I don't want to see Gronk on the field at all, and don't think we will until the regular season. _________________

Is Leigh Bodden still on the roster? I know he was a good contributor when not injured. He could prolly help development of young guys in secondary if he is still with us.

The last two times Bill Belichick and Jeff Fisher have met, Belichick's teams have outscored Fisher's 104-7...Jeffrey, Bill is your Achilles Heel. |

Am I the only one who doesn't want that? Not because I don't like the Saints, but because they're almost unbeatable in New Orleans, and if it's the Super Bowl and they're in it? The stadium will be so loud, it'll be like being under a jet engine, or worse. _________________

This is very true...if the Saints make the Super Bowl this season, I don't think there will have ever been a louder SB venue in history. _________________

We'd probably be able to hear the screams and cheers after every TD from here in New England.
I imagine someone's head would explode like that dude from Scanners. _________________

To think that our organization, and Bill Belichick get a title like "classless" lumped on them regularly by fans of this league.
That's really cool though.

"oderint dum metuant", a favorite phrase of Caligula. "Let them hate, so long as they fear."
I think it applies here. _________________

| I want to know who our KR is. Last year we were ranked 29th in KR yards and our avg field position in the SB was our own 16. Ugh. |
