So my dumba** apparently missed the fact my kicker was on a bye this week. BUT, no harm done, as Drew Brees and Ahmad Bradshaw just TRUCKED right through TO_7
2-3 and mounting the comeback! _________________

I'm not great, but I'm usually not this bad either. I don't know WTH the problem is with me this year. _________________

Look at Reggie Wayne and Ahmad Bradshaw. They both had 200 yards or more. ESPN has it set up so that the RB loses his bonus points if he gets over 200 yards. Bradshaw should have had 31 points but ESPN took away the 5 point bonus for the RB but not the WR.
In this particular match up, the 5 points won't effect who won or loss. But, do we all agree to award the 5 bonus points to Bradshaw's score?
Has this come up in any of the other leagues? |
Yeah the same thing happened in the Silver League. I have Bradshaw and he was not awarded the bonus. Adding those points to my team likely will not affect the outcome as I am down by 34 points with only Shonn Greene to play and my opponent has no one left to play. Greene plus the 5 points likely will not equal the 34 that I am down.
How to we go about making the change for this week and for upcoming weeks as well? |
I looked at it last night and ESPN is weird . I think we will have to add the 5 points in on case by case basis. I don't see where it game an option to only add the 5 bonus points after 100 yards... It gave the option between 100-199.
We are all in agreement though. I will add 5 points to his score. Like I said, it won't effect the win or loss but it might have an effect later if there was a tie in record at the end of the season. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

I will add the 5 points to my team for Bradshaw's bonus via the adjust scoring option. Sadly, it won't matter as Matts' is still going to beat me this week, unless Shonn Greene has a monster night tonight and puts up 29 points.
FM30, you will need to do the same for whoever has Bradshaw in your league.
For the rest of this season, since we already know ESPN will drop the 100-199 bonus when the player hits 200, shouldn't we adjust the league scoring settings to add in a 5 point bonus whenever a player is between 200 & 299 yards? That way a player will still get a bonus either way and no one will have to adjust the scoring after the fact. _________________

ESPN also decided to reduce Reggie Wayne's point total.
Again, doesn't affect the outcome, but it's kind of frustrating.
And I swear I've never had a fantasy team this bad. As atrocious as my draft was, I can't for the life of me make a good start/sit call (would've won this week had I gone Luck over Newton, managed to bench Chris Johnson and Hakeem Nicks during their singular respective monstrous performances, and others). _________________

Let's see how you fair next week against some real competition. I am heading into that week as a favorite and I have some seriously awesome matchups. Ray Rice against Dallas alone will likely net me the win. |
Sadly, it probably will. _________________

Anyone who has Ray Rice on their team and doesn't bench him this week is a closeted Eagles fan. _________________
