| Quote: | When Robert Meachem left this offseason via free agency to sign with the San Diego Chargers, it left a void in the offensive arsenal. However, there appears to be adequate replacements at the ready.
The coaching staff could go one of three ways. They can play seldom-used veteran Adrian Arrington, who has shown glimpses of his potential in past preseasons. Or they hand the position to the star of last year's training camp, former undrafted rookie Joe Morgan, who dazzled with his speed and big-play ability in the passing game and on special teams before suffering a season-ending knee injury in the preseason.
Fourth-round pick Nick Toon, the son of former NFL All-Pro receiver Al Toon, was one of the stars of offseason drills. Coaches have raved about his pass-catching ability and route-running. |

I really hope Joe Morgan makes the team. I don't see any way that Toon doesn't make it, so Morgan would likely be a 5th WR, which isn't unheard of on this team. _________________

Toon #4 and Morgan #5, I think both will have some big plays this season. I hate to say Roby may lose his roster spot this season. _________________

In Madden I always make him a CB and he has a 62 OVR, so he is a decent dime/quarter CB. He plays STs too.
They should just do that. _________________

I really think Toon surprises(he'll end up only behind Moore and Colston). After that it'll be Morgan.
I like AA, but he really hasn't forced himself into the conversation. He has the measurables but hasn't produced enough. Even in preseason. _________________

I know it was only mini-camps, but I heard some good things about Chris Givens. Any idea on his chances? He was supposedly doing really well in red zone situations. _________________ Earn more sessions by sleeving. |

I know we've got a lot of depth, IMO an injury would be the only way he makes the team this season.
Colston
Moore
Henderson
Toon
Morgan
Arrington
and Roby
All probably have a leg up on him right now. _________________
