Move to LA or Mobile |
Why would any NFL team relocate to Mobile? Unless you were joking.
And all this relocation talk is nonsense. Tampa is too appealing as a Super Bowl venue, Florida is a great football state, and if you've seen the unemployment down here, you'd understand why people can't afford to go to an NFL game every weekend. |
No, it's a great HS football state. It's also a very good college football state. But with the Jags looking at re-location, and the state of the fanbases of the Bucs and Dolphins, Florida looks like one of the worst states for the NFL. |
Yes, but it would be a very poor NFL market. NFL ticket prices are expensive. Florida is a great HS football state and college football state as well. But the economy is just too bad for people to drop at least $100 for a football game. Me and my dad haven't payed to go to a football game or any sporting event since the 2001 Tampa Bay-New England game. Now we're trying to see if we can make it to a football game this year, but we're not positive, because it's just too pricy. But if you ask any of my friends or family, I'm by far the biggest Bucs fan they know. There's thousands of stories like mine in Tampa, and millions in Florida. Floridians love their football, they just can't afford it. Mobile wouldn't be able to either. _________________

Really is kind of interesting to see how many players from last year's squad is unemployed:
-Josh Johnson
-Kellen Winslow
-Tanard Jackson
-Sean Jones
-Elbert Mack
-Brian Price
Lumpkin and Geno Hayes made the roster as depth guys. Jeff Faine was signed by the Bengals after they lost their starting C. Also, the entire coaching staff outside of Keith Millard is either out of the NFL or took a demotion to catch on another staff.
Last year was a total train wreck. |

Yep. Schiano seems to know what he's doing. Raheem was clueless when it came to establishing an NFL Caliber coaching staff. Honestly, the only one's I can name that are coaching in the NFL this year is Greg Olson as QBs coach in Jax and Raheem is the DBs coach. (Heck he didn't even get DC consideration, besides the Vikings, which isn't saying much.)
Brian Price is a good rotational player, but he's going though a tough time. Plus, that rare surgery to his hamstring that isn't very friendly to a football player. What's surprising is Josh Johnson couldn't beat out Kaepernick, especially since Johnson knew the offense and was Harbaugh's guy. |

Now way. He's not a Mastermind-type guy. K2 doesn't even practice. _________________

I doubt K2 gets offered even a vet-min contract from the Pats, but it'd be hilarious if he did... _________________

Do you guys remember when the forums was split on whether or not the K2 trade was a good deal or not? I think this answers that debate. But I'm wondering whether or not we take any sort of cap hit for this or if the Seahawks inherited his cap problem. I'm assuming that's on the Seahawks, at least it should be. _________________

They're getting a tad bit ridiculous with their love affair with TE's. It's going to cost them a Wes Welker. _________________

Just did a critique on it. Honestly I think its better than my critique makes it seem. I just get detailed on things. Extremely difficult to know as much as you do about all 32 teams. Other than a few things with the defensive side, I think you did a good job. _________________

| Quote: | Free agent WR Roberto Wallace worked out for the Bucs.
It's Wallace's first-known workout since he was waived by the Dolphins. Wallace has ideal size at 6-foot-4, 225 pounds, but has consistently struggled to create separation since entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2010. The Bucs are likely just updating their emergency list. | . |

Add to that
| Quote: | Free agent QB Stephen McGee worked out for the Bucs.
The Bucs are only two deep at quarterback, but it appears they were just doing their due diligence on the former Cowboy. McGee was terrible in the preseason and has no practice squad eligibility. Perhaps he'll resurface as a No. 2 or 3 quarterback during the year with a team racked by injuries.
