Good. I never understood the hype over him. _________________

Manny looked better than Burton, unfortunate, though Manny should make the PS. I hope. |

In what way?
Burton at least showed that he can run simple slant routes, has the speed to get deep, and can play on special teams. All Arceneaux showed was that he... That's right, nothing. _________________

Manny was just as productive as Burton, true he may not be as good of a route runner as Burton but he has better hands. Burton had very inconsistent hands in the preseason. Burton isnt much of a special teams player either, MN has enough guys who can return kicks and he looked fairly poor covering kicks against the Texans. He took a horrible angle on one of the Texans returns.
Its a very minimal difference, i would have preferred the guy with the better hands but i can understand why one would prefer Burton who seems to have better physical tools. That #5 WR probably wont get that much action anyway. |

Good. He has to be one of the league's slowest RBs. |

Manny was cut? What happened to the dramatic improvement Stewart claimed?
| Quote: | | Wide receivers coach George Stewart has been in this profession for 30 years and coaching in the NFL for 24 seasons, including the past six with the Vikings. According to Stewart, "Emmanuel Arceneaux has improved more than any player in one year that I've ever coached," Stewart said. "That's in (all my) years of coaching and in every facet. He's going to be a player that's going to help us again this year." |

Another year on the PS wont hurt him. Unless a team picks him up. |

Glad Lex Hilliard got cut, he was one player that i could not stand. He is horrible.
I also think Chris Carr could be a surprise cut. _________________

Carr should consider himself lucky if he is still on the roster
I rathered Manny to Burton as I think Manny has a higher ceiling. The #5/#6 WR doesnt see the field that much, so going higher ceiling would have been my choice. _________________

I really like MBT's upside. Sage has the potential of a potato. At least with MBT we can have a developement guy. Because he might not have made the PS. _________________
