WTF! Schiano doesn't play! Better hope Okoye gets and stays healthy.
As far as Dez I couldn't care less. R&P better change his sig _________________

Let's not forget that the coaches know more than we do. _________________

Let's not forget that the coaches know more than we do. | Because giving away a high potential DT for a late pick is so smart. |

High potential isn't the same as high performing. Price has an unprecedented injury and surgical repair AND he's probably having some emotional problems with his recent family tragedy. Who knows if he would ever come close to his potential, and obviously the coaching staff thought it was ok to trade him away. _________________

Wow. That came outta left field. I like Price and hope he can continue to battle through and make the Bears' final roster. I wish him the best.
What'd we get? A seventh round conditional pick? _________________

Schiano isn't playing around
I loved Price as a prospect. He's very disruptive and explosive, but I didn't see how he would fit at NT. His surgery was incredibly rare and when you watch the video of him coming to camp today he is still walking with a limp. I love his heart. He's had a damn tough life. I just don't know if he will ever be 100% again. Even though he's not a Buc anymore I will be rooting for him.
With Briscoe, I'm just angry at him. He wasted his chance. He'll latch onto another team and I wouldn't be surprised if he produces...he just didn't buy in quick enough. You can't miss practices when you are trying to make a name for yourself with a new staff. Schiano might have been too quick on the trigger on this one, but at least he's consistent. If you don't buy in you are gone. _________________

I like it. No nonsense football, something we've lacked for a while now. _________________

Price hasn't done much on the field and honestly he was best suited as a rotational player. As much as I respect him as a person off the field this was a business decision that had to be made. He just didn't produce on the field. |
