I wasn't sure where to post this so.....
How do you Jets fans feel about the ever increasing drama that the media creates around your team? It's Rex's fault, no doubt, and I can't see it ending in anything but disaster. You can PM your response so that this thread doesn't devote a page to such a generic question. Thanks, and good luck against the Pats (Scum). _________________

Honestly, I hate media already. I use to like when ESPN talked about the Jets. Now its either about Tebow or something negative. I'm only rooting for Tebow to look good because hes a Jet and I've never wish a jet to do bad. I still think Mark is going to have a good year anyway.
Based on last season, I was not impressed at all. They call him a winner, he went 8-8 just like we did. The only difference is that his division was crushed my injuries and folded towards the end of the season. Even rushing, he has more yards but him and Mark had the same amount of rushing TD's. Tim has a lower compl. % than Mark. He played well against the Steelers, but even they were hurt and missing players.
I think he will look good in the packages Sparano put him in, but I can't see him taking the spot, and repeating last season. I still remember how the Bills handled him. _________________

Maybin is looking good so far. 2 sacks, 1 on Mark, another on Tim. _________________

Since losing ESPN America I haven't heard any of the talk surrounding training camps. What's being made of Tebow, how annoying is it?
In serious talk I'm not sure I like the idea of Slauson having reps at RT and Vlad at LG. Slauson was good and I think that between Vlad, Otah and Hunter we might be able to have some good RT play for however many games Otah can play plus a fluke game from Vlad/Hunter. _________________

It's not that annoying to be honest. The media is huge in NY, that's unavoidable. Most beat writers will make Tebow a footnote, and that's almost in a satirical manner. Like today, for example, all the reporters talked about how Tebow ran off the field shirtless in a driving rainstorm. Dude looks huge though haha. _________________

Rex pointed out he is annoyed that Kerley hasn't progressed in Sparanos system. I personally feel hes slightly overrated on this forum. Rex also pointed out Tone could play the slot which would be ideal.
Chaz and Hill on the outside and tone in the slot would be a great set. _________________

Twitter is always good. Cimini even though hes a [inappropriate/removed], and Manish Mehta.
Or thejetsblog.com is a pretty good blog and gives updates via twitter as well. _________________

I really like the idea of Tone, Hill, and Chaz in a 3 WR set. (THC) Size and speed on the outside, and Holmes & Keller eating up the middle. _________________

I love what you did there.

Rex says he isn't happy with Kerley at the moment. Not surprised. _________________

It's all stupid and superficial but it's annoying in the sense that unimportant football details are reported in place of actual football. I care about how the competition at left guard looks, I don't care about some stupid meaningless soundbite that Rex Ryan gave a reporter in a press conference.
Then there are the media outlets that are trying to manufacture a QB controversy that doesn't exist. |

The NY area media is a special breed. I am glad Sanchez is shining right now, because I really despise how some post a comparison of him and Tebow stats from a mini camp.
Part of it is on Tebow as well, since he is such a polarizing player. If we traded for a similar player without the name, then no one would give a darn. _________________

Good to know that the RB's looked good. We really need McKnight and Greene to step up and have career seasons. _________________
