Taking out a page in the Observer to let everyone know.
Not sure how I feel about this. Seems pretty weird that of all people, it was him. I mean, he always came off as a big joker. Never really appeared to be a leader except in the locker room. And he did this without even telling anyone so he wouldn't be discouraged. Hmmm...

I love Ryan Kalil but I just hate when players do this. I have no issue with saying, "We're not going to stop until we get that Lombardi in our possession" or something of the ilk but don't like when players flat out guarantee a victory. Love seeing our team being confident but just wish he could have avoided outright saying that.
On the plus side, he is a center and thus it'll probably never see the light of day in NFL general or the media. |

Love me some Ryan Kalil.
I don't really have an issue with this. At the very least it just shows what a leader he has become.

I mean I guess it would be sweet if a Jaguar player came out and did the same thing, but I guess they all know that they won't realistically have a shot in the next 5-6 years
