Browns fans watch James Gayle this year out of Virginia Tech. I was doing some snooping to find some underclass men who may breakout this year and came across him. Watched a few games and I think he can make a big jump this year. Hard working kid from what I read as well. _________________

See I just see Mingo and Jones as 3-4 backers. I do like monty though |
I think a DE with 3-4 OLB size and athletcisim works for us.
We want raw speed around 6'3-6-5 and 255-270 |
totally agree with that statement. _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

I was talking with a buddy of mine and he made the assertion that he likes to see at least 20 combined splash plays out of a 1st round pass rusher.
Sacks TFL's FF's and Int's. I thought that was an interesting idea.
Anybody agree or disagree? _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Don't know what INT's have to do with rushing the passer, but its logical. Its all about impact plays.
Personally, I like to compare Sacks, TFL, and pressure's. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

I would Like to see:
coming to CLE via the 1st round of 2013
He would be the perfect fit for us
He's fast, and explosive with great balance coming off the edge, and strong at the point of attack
Reportedly he lost some weight and is looking much more explosive this year.
I would like to see this guy in the 3rd:

My favorite DE far and away is Montgomery.
Warner is my next. I'd like to see him line up at RDE more in games.
Simon would be the 3rd. though, he really needs to work on his snap count. Guy is consistently the last person off the snap.
These are all "to the whistle" guys that never give up. All of them are good against the run. All of them need some little things to work on. _________________ 2013 First Ballot Recipient of the Joe Blackburn Award |

Of those on the watch list I believe Werner is in the lead with 3 sacks. Anybody see anything different? _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

I wouldn't even count the first week or 2 of the season due to the terrible teams most play early on. _________________

I thought about that, but what does it say about those prospects that "DIDN'T" produce vs the creampuffs? _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

Some puffs are creamier than other though. That's what she said? _________________

I think it is obvious our biggest needs are Pass rushing DE and guards so I'm all in on DEs this year. I have identified 73 starting caliber DEs on the other 31 teams(some by default bc they are starting). I wanted to break down where those players were drafted and this is what I found.
1st = 34
2nd = 17
3rd = 5(Ahmad Brooks, Shaughnessy, Avril, Justin Tuck and Justin Houston)
4th = 8
5th = 3(Mathis, Mark Anderson, Cole)
6th = 2(Greg Hardy, Jeremy Mincey)
7th = 0
UDFA = 4(Michael Bennett, Idonije, Clemons, Harrison)
Basically it's get your pass rushers early or don't even bother. I'd say other than QB it's the hardest position to fill after round 2 and really the numbers tumble to half from round 1 to round 2. _________________

Our guards have a chance develope and improve. Our DE's outside of Sheard...not so much _________________ The Dawgpounds new three headed monster!

I know we need guards but I'd love to draft Montgomery in the first and another DE in the 3rd round.
I want a 3 DE rotation and our D-line would be nasty. _________________
