First depth chart of the year is here:

http://thefinsiders.com/blog/2012/dolphins-release-first-depth-chart-of-2012

Interesting notes:

--Sean Smith and Richard Marshall are listed as the starting CBs, with Vontae Davis behind Marshall. I mentioned in a previous post I had read Sean Smith looks pretty good in camp.

--Marcus Thigpen is listed as the starting kick returner, ahead of Lamar Miller, Steve Slaton and Clyde Gates. If Gates isn't a return man, I think he will be cut. I don't think he's gonna be an NFL WR.

Also, I noted that Naane, Johnson and Bess are mentioned as starters. Perhaps the reports of Bess being cut were premature.

The marshall davis thing is interesting it has been noted though that davis has not takin any reps with the second team and today had his best practice. Marshall is not a back up corner in this league either, nothing like a good message to davis maybe? love that Sean Smith beastin cause he has the ability and always thought he was better then this forum gave him credit just needs to be more consitent.
