Bottlegate 2.0?
I'm a Braves fan and I didn't like it. That being said, they certainly didn't deserve to win that game. McCann would have got a pitch to hit with the bases loaded so it may have been a different game, but we'll never know.
I dislike the 1 game play-in game, I'd rather have 1 wildcard team. It's baseball, you can't prove who a better team is with a 1 game series, especially if you can't reset your rotation. |

It gives more value to winning your division which is something I like _________________

Braves blew it for themselves but when its do.or die 1 game you cant have an ump making that call. _________________

I'm old school, I don't like wildcards in baseball period. If you want 4 teams to make the playoffs from each league create four 4 team divisions. |

Arguably the best playoffs out there are the NHL playoffs. Teams hate eachother by game 2 and they have to go a maximum of 7. Teams seeded 8th do great, last year one won the cup.
I understand in football if a team is booted after 1 game but playing 162 games in like 190 days, its just dumb to end it all after a 1 game series. I'm not just saying this because my team lost, I thought it was dumb to begin with.
Ideally it'd be SO much better if there were like 100 games and a 16 team playoff. The way things are now, if you lose 1 key player for a long period of time you can kiss your playoff chances goodbye. _________________

^^^I agree. Baseball runs entirely too long. It doesn't help that I'm an Indians fan and lose interest in July by the time we're out of the playoff picture. _________________
