I travel to Newton every month. Apparently they found a device there that didn't explode. Scary stuff.

My thoughts and prayers are with the people there in Boston. These large scale acts of violence are becoming more and more common place. SMH.

I've never really had much of an opinion about Obama and his job because I know it's a hard job, but why in the world would Obama fly someone connected to the Boston bombings out of the country and back to Saudi Arabia.

Can't discuss politics. Sorry. It gets out of hand with name-calling pretty quickly.

I am so pumped I got my tickets officially confirmed on the NFL ticket exchange for the October 6th game against the Chiefs.

This will be the first game for the Titans I have seen at LP field and I can't wait. I live in Canada so I will be doing a 10.5 hour road trip to the game and will be staying in and around Nashville for a few days before the game too. I see there are a lot of things to do in the area a lot of interesting attractions for sure.

Any places in particular you guys would recommend specifically? Restaurants especially because I love trying different things I can't get back here in Canada so just curious.

Does anyone here sit in section 136 for the games? That is where I will be.

Thanks to anyone in advance who helps me with suggestions. It is much appreciated.

Hmm... well if you are up for a trip, Loveless is an old school Southern restaurant, probably some of the best biscuits you'll ever have. Probably like 25 minutes from downtown.

If you like good beer, Yazoo Brewery is an awesome local beer and the pub is pretty cool too. In a good part of town where there's plenty of things to do near by in the Gulch area.

Touristy things like the Grand Ole Opry, the Ryman Auditorium and Country Music HOF are alright. Belle Meade Plantation is interesting if you're into history.

For going out, 2nd & Broad (2nd Ave & Broadway) has tons of bars and live music, always very lively all weekend and definitely a good time. Also some decent food options there like Jacks BBQ (although I prefer Martin's BBQ if you're up for a little drive).
