5th round keeper: Ray Rice
6th round is between Matt Stafford and DeMarco Murray |
I would take Stafford. If you already have Rice, you are solid are RB. And Stafford can be an effective starter or backup. |

Definitely keep Stafford. You need a top 5 QB and unless you get Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Stafford or Newton, it'll be very hard to win. Like it or not, QB's account for a lot of points. You can find some good rookie RB's later in the draft, who could produce big. _________________ "People say you should always do the right thing, but sometimes there is no right thing. ya i was thinking stafford too, were voting this saturday for 3 keepers so hopefully that wins out.
The thing that i like about keeping Stafford is that i get an elite QB for the rest of his career for a 6th round pick _________________

I legitimately have no idea which Seattle WR I would draft this year. I've been thinking about it a lot.
Sidney Rice in the 10th
Baldwin in the 14th
Tate in the 16th
Lockette as a UDFA
Or Braylon Edwards as a UDFA
I could seriously see any one of these guys being huge this year. _________________

Personally, I wouldn't waste a pick on any of them. The Seahawks defense will be very high on my draft list though. I think they could be excellent this year. I'd probably shy away from Marshawn Lynch too, since he could be facing a long suspension. Turbin could be a late round sleeper, maybe even as an UDFA. If Lynch's suspension is significant, Turbin could make a lot of noise. _________________ "People say you should always do the right thing, but sometimes there is no right thing. I pretty much never draft Seahawks. Easier on me. I did get Lynch in FA the week before he blew up. Bet that guy felt like an idiot... _________________

pretty much a gamble, Mcfadden might/will get hurt and Lynch could bust because we payed him. _________________ Go Hawks! WINTER IS COMING |

But there is an equal uncertainty that McFadden will stay healthy forr the whole season. That being said, I say go with McFadden. I figure they will both be out 4-6 weeks through the season, but McFadden should be more productive during the weeks he is playing. |

WR Julio Jones 23
WR Demaryius Thomas 16
TE Owen Daniels 1

BE Coby Fleener 1
BE Leonard Hankerson 1
BE Doug Baldwin Waivers
BE Pierre Thomas 1
BE Greg Little 1
Total: 200
Remaining: 0
EDIT: Dropped Justin Blackmon for Doug Baldwin
The numbers next to the name are how much money i spent on the player, and I started out with 200. |
You dropped a ton on AP and Chris Johnson. Considering AP is coming off injury and may face suspension and Johnson had a horrible year in '11, that's a major risk. Especially since Thomas and Bush are basically backups. Getting Jordy Nelson for 12 was a steal! He should be starting. Baldwin could be a steal as well. Phillip Rivers is a great backup. |
Agree with all of that - and I like it that you only picked 1 DEF (I've been in a number of drafts where people have drafted two - WHY? Wait 'til the bye weeks start before even CONSIDERING it) - but Detroit? If they can keep their heads, not a bad choice at all - but there are, for me, still some dark clouds over the DTs (Suh/Fairley).
Oops - just noticed that this was an auction draft. Haven't done one of those so (for me) normal rules don't apply. Still think you've overpaid for Peterson and especially Johnson, but you got some proper bargains in Rivers, Little and especially Fleener. IMO. _________________ The Hawks Will Rise Again! |
