After SB 40 and now deflate gate for some reason I remembered this scene from this movie which about told the future of the Hawks instead.

I need some advice. I am going to be in town this fall. What are good prices for tickets and the best place to get them?

You remember the Packers-Seahawks officiating controversy 3 years ago? Turns out it wasn't the first major controversy in sports involving Seattle and a Wisconsin city.

In 1969, the Seattle Pilots MLB expansion team began play, but were hampered by many factors, and entering 1970 spring training, it was unsure whether they could survive in Seattle. Eventually, the team was ruled bankrupt, and purchased by a Milwaukee group who relocated the team to that city as the Brewers, creating controversy and lawsuits.

So, in a way, I guess you can consider the 2012 Packers-Seahawks game revenge for what happened to the Pilots, 42 years after the fact, as Seattle won that game.

And I have a perfect explanation for their 2-3 record now. Their 2 wins came at home. Their 3 losses came on the road. Seems to me like the Seahawks are different teams at home and on the road. They play the undefeated Panthers next week but here's the catch - it's in Seattle. We all know what happened the last time the Panthers were in Seattle. In fact, Carolina has never won in Seattle. I expect this to remain true after next Sunday. Just giving my two cents.

I dont feel that this is good reasoning. Sure, theyre undefeated at home and haven't won on the road, but I think that is just by chance at this point. Watching them play, they have just looked lackluster no matter where they are playing. The only difference is that they happened to be able to hang on at home.

I always like to hit up the Hawks best. It's a small little bar that gets very packed on game day but it's reasonably priced and really close (right next to the stadium. My buddy also said he went to a tailgate that's open to anyone. It's $20 to get in but all you can eat and drink. I'm not sure if that's a normal thing but it's worth checking out at that price. It's somewhere in the SODO area. Sorry I can't be more specific, he was a bit sloppy when he was there so he's not extremely reliable.

There's also the triangle pub. I haven't been this year for the Hawks game but I went there before a Mariner game this summer and it was not bad. Also very packed but they had beer specials ($9 for a 32 ounce or something like that). They also grill up some mean dogs.

Lots of fun places nearby. I just don't recommend eating at Jimmy's by the stadium. It's ok for booze but the food was terrible last time I ate there.

Didja see the quote on Sports Center? Pacman Jones says "I know he was faking!", about Brown being out cold after the hit by Burfict at the end of the Steeler/Bengal game. I usu root for Cincy in games that don't affect the Hawks, but never again if they don't jettison those two morons. & No, I don't thing Marvin Lewis should lose his job for those two's idiocy. Remember, you can take the kid oout of Compton, but you can't take Compton out of the kid. I know, I grew up down there.
