im trading him Jamaal Charles and He is trading me Andrew.
We both like the trade. Spent a couple PM's going back and fourth trying to make it a multi player deal but couldnt come to terms on trading our scrubs lol
benefits both teams. He needs a upgrade at RB and I need a upgrade at QB.
if anyone is looking for a decent bye week QB, Matt Schaub is for trade |
can the commish of the league, force the trade to go through!
its an even trade that both EndRun and I proposed to each other and accepted. I just want the Commish to push it through so I can have Andrew Luck for tonight _________________

See, this is the thing I don't like about keepers. I've been keeping tabs on this page because I'm currently in the top 3 in the other league and I'm a bit worried about how the keepers are going to work.
In looking through this thread I've seen a number of "gotta sell all my long term guys to get right now bang to keep me from getting demoted" posts. Now some of those are of course going to fail, leaving the three rising members to deal with teams devoid of good keepers.
For this reason, I think I support the idea of allowing as MANY as 3 keepers, but maybe only force 1 keeper per team? This would allow teams with few viable keepers (let's say a team's best three guys are Michael Turner, Roethlisberger and Steven Jackson because they sold off their younger guys who were more desirable long term to keep themselves from getting dropped) to recover more easily by picking guys in the 2nd and 3rd rounds who other teams didn't want to keep, but who may be better than their keepers.
You could even allow this for ONLY the upcoming/downgoing teams. The reasoning being that if you were in the league all year you knew you had three keepers and you should've worked to get 3 you like, whereas the upcoming teams had no control of what the upper league owners did with their teams.
Just some thoughts on how to make the experience more equitable and fair for the owners coming up from lower league next year. _________________

I could really use a win this week, getting back to .500 would really help my team stay up. I drafted with a forward looking strategy and really like what I have going into next year. Doug Martin has been a monster these last two weeks and if Ryan Mathews can get going I should have a great RB stable for years to come. _________________

Another option is the simply pool the players from the exiled / replaced teams. And the new owners draft from that pool, as opposed to simply taking over an entire last-place team.
I don't really have a problem with only requiring a team to keep, say, two guys instead of three. But I think that the existing teams should have that same option.
I think even the bottom teams should have at least 2 good keepers. I know I have at least 2-3 solid guys.
And yeah, maybe some clarification on just how many teams get the boot would be good. When I re-read the thread the only thing I saw was 2-4.
Here's hoping it's 2 *fingers crossed*. _________________

I was about to post in here.
I have completely neglected my coaching duties of this team.
I feel bad for asking in the competitive league this year.
I will be stepping down to the secondary league next year and will have to earn the right to be bumped back up.
The only reason i'm not currently making any big trades, is to maintain some decent keeper players for whoever takes over my team next season.

If you're going to suck, then suck with integrity and class. You are the Romeo Crennel of our league. Kudos to you. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.

We have all offseason to come up with a system for keepers/promotion/demotion/etc but keep generating ideas. Once we hit March and there is nothing to talk about we can have heated discussions about how to make this thing run smoothly. In the meantime, hornby might want to start a defense because I'm going to roll you this week _________________

Your wish has been granted. I'm watching the Dallas-Philly game, and Nick Foles was handing out defensive TD's like candy. Didn't realize until later that msr had started Dallas.
An undefeated season would've been nice and all, but my team's not good enough for that. I'll be happy with a 1st round bye. _________________ Cleveland Browns: We put the fun in dysfunction.
