I'm game but can we please have have small rosters.

Like have a set up of
Starters
QB
RB
RB
WR
WR
WR
TE
Flex (RB/WR/TE)
K
DEF

And have the bench around 4-6 players

The roster were so big that it was impossible to make any good FA pick ups later in the season because anyone that had any potential at all was just sitting on someone's bench.

no it was impossible to make any good FA pick cause i took em all and made awesome pick ups

Can I make a suggestion on the flex? In league I commish, we usually set our flex as just a WR/TE. When you give a RB flex in a 14 team league, the team with the 3 best RBs usually runs away with it. To me, it's more fun starting only 2 RBs 2 WRs & a WR/TE flex.

Just my 2 pennies.

I'd love to play some FF. I haven't in about 4-5 years. I was kind of a junkie and was in about 10 leagues (4 of which I won, toot toot). But I would like to find a league to get into again. I may start one with my co-workers as well.

Having a 10player bench is just dumb. So hopefully u won't have to worry about it

I loved the depth actually.

I just hated the mandated 6 RB, 6 WR, 3 QB, 2TE, 2 D & 2 K

everyone of us would set our numbers up differently which would help with some depth problems...But to force everyone to have the exact same setup really limits what you can do in FA.

Bench number wise I am 100% ok with.

Have two leagues and have the two winners "play" each other.

Set it up by week 14 we have the winner of each league and week 15 we can put them against each other. It could be a part of our gameday thread. We will just put their players against each other and we will just take out the player if both owners have them

But I seriously don't want large benches. Smaller bench makes it better it allows the worse team in the league to actually better themselves by scoring a good waiver pick up

Same. I want it to be hard. I made about 12-14 pick ups. I really enjoyed it.

You want it to be hard? How does having smaller benches make it easier. It IMO it makes for a more competitive league.

I remember last year my RBs getting destroyed by injuries last year and their was abolautely no RB what so ever on the FA waiver. Basically had to pick up FBs and hope they some how have a good week.

Also wouldn't it be harder with smaller benches because u really have to pick and chose who to really keep on ur team. That you really have to build around and make moves on bye weeks

Smaller benches make it harder, it also allows the worse team in the league to actually have a chance to try and come back by signing a good player or two

Small benches make it way harder. For one, teams cant just stash guys for depth. And two, if you like your roster but want to pick up a hot free agent, you have to drop someone or watch that FA get picked up by someone else. Less bench spots is where its at, make it 5 and you will see a competitive league.
