Who should we submit the nominations of the potential inductees to? I have 5 names, but I don't know who to send the list to. _________________

Should we make it secretive - or out in public? _________________

I might be available late tonight, but I'm in Newport, RI all weekend for the folk festival and will be getting together with friends.
I think we should do a single Induction Ceremony instead of splitting them up. It would make for a fun night.
On the process to choose current members for induction, I would suggest that people publicly submit their nominations (up to 5). The top-5 nominated posters would be on the final ballot.
Voting, though, should be done privately and hopefully a member who wasn't nominated could collect the ballots. _________________

When are we going to do this? And any news on when nominations and voting will start to induct the other 2 spots? _________________

I figured we could start tomorrow. I've got a little bit more free time on my hands now so it shouldn't be a problem getting things together for the inductions tomorrow night, so long as everybody has their speeches ready. _________________

You guys are confusing me. I thought the plan now was to vote for some active members and we were going to induct everyone at the same time?
I think you and TO7 need to formulate a plan and pass it on to the rest of us. Right now, it seems like everyone is lost. _________________

I'm always lost, so that's nothing new.
I think I had mentioned to TO that we could induct the Legacy class this weekend, then open the nominations thread to take votes, then induct those candidates at a later date. _________________

Well. This was my idea. We have a legacy class inducted. We already have all three sponsors ready to induct the members. So they get enshrined first. Once the ceremony is done. We open up public nominations. You can nominate up to five members. But you don't need to nominate that many. The top 5 people nominated will be listed after the nomination period closes. I will ask for someone to volunteer to be the vote counter after and everyone will pm that person the top two choices. The two people with the most votes get inducted this year. They will be our first living class. Next year. Those two may choose to elevate one member into the roh. Else wise we as a group have the ability to enshrine one member as well. Neither group is ever forced to elevate someone. But the option exists. Groovy? _________________

Can I get an AMEN or a I disagree and here is why post?
It makes sense to have the induction tomorrow at Plan9s, Matts, and TSSS's convenience. And open up nominations this weekend. Close the polls by Monday. Tuesday the candidates are reveled. Wed and Thursday people send in their votes and next Friday the second class is inducted. _________________
