I am jelly of your deviousness. |
I would've nominated you, but you do have "Eagles" in your location, so I just couldn't do it. You know that you're one of the better posters around here and make me laugh regularly, but hey, even I have standards. |
you? standards? PFFT.
I agree though, I've not been looking my best lately.
and i was definitely beating the, 'longevity matters' drum pretty hard during the inaugural Eagles Forum HOD inductions. _________________

I think we need to amend the rules of this. The initial class needs to be larger. There are alot more than 2 members who deserve to be first ballot guys. I propose nominations of ten with 5 posters inducted into our initial class. This can be repeated next year and knocked back down to 2 for year three. This will also give us more votes when the Forum Ring of Honor chooses another inductee which will eliminate favoritism in voting. (We all know how Matts, Ht and Slam are with fantasy football)
Anyone else think this is a better way to begin our Forum Ring of Honor? |
DK made this suggestion. Anyone else have thoughts on this? _________________

Only problem with inducting more people every time is that in a few years, pretty much every regular poster will be inducted and it will just fizzle out.
Personally, I think three is the magic number. _________________

As we have already inducted 3 members as part of the Legacy class, inducting two more members is sufficient for an inaugural class. I think if we expand it to 5 that could dilute future classes, especially if we plan on doing this once a year. _________________

I think two is sufficient enough for this class. _________________

I would say keep it as possible once a year, but leave the options for induction to not take place, if the two candidates do not get a high number of yes votes, a high vote turnout, or anything else that could be seen to dilute the meaning behind this. I see no need to induct every year if there is no candidate worthy of being inducted. Then again, I've never cared to spare e-feelings. _________________
