I was getting a little concerned. Kind of surprised it's not a longer deal though.

Same Tania said the jags wanted a 5 year deal. Not sure why Scobee wanted a 4 year deal. Oh well, glad he is signed.

Scobee's deal worth $3.45 million per year with $4.75M guaranteed. Guarantee is a $3.75M signing bonus and $1M first-year salary.

He signed a 4 yr 16M extension. Still 3.45 per seems like a lot for a kicker, even one of scobee's talent

Pretty much lol. He's never had an issue with clutch kicks.

I just hope his percentage stays high.

I don't think that's going to be a problem. He changed the way he kicks, and that's why it has increased. He stopped hitting every kick with everything he had, and started going 80%. It seems to have cut down on the left/right drift.

Thats true. Hopefully that 90% kicking rate will continue. We need our drives to end in 3 points rather than 0 more than any team in the league right now

Glad to have him locked in...We've gotta pay someone the good money right? We could have one of the best sets of K/P's in the league if things work out.
