I came across these really cool split stats on SI.com, here are the splits and some stats I added of some of the better QBs. In parentheses I give the % of the specified stat out of the total intentional attempts. The "Bad Throw" stat is just the number of passes that were more to blame on the QB (overthrow, underthrown, wide) rather than the skill of a CB. The "adjusted QBR," is that players QBR not including passes that weren't his arms fault or were intentionally thrown away (throw aways, spikes, drops, batted). The Adjusted QBR is more to show how good of a thrower they were, of course it ignores questionable intangibles. Feel free to request a QB and I'll post his stats.

Aaron Rodgers
29 Passes Dropped, 1 INT
18 Overthrown (4%), 1 INT
15 Underthrown (3.3%)

This doesn't look too good for Mike Vick if I'm reading this correctly.

Yeah not great, specifically how much his passes get batted down at the line. More than double the next guy out of the 10 I looked at. Most surprising by far though has to be how Brady has the highest "Bad Throw" % out of 10 guys. I really wish these stats were available for prior years...

Interesting i must say, but do these consider miscommunications. because like most Qbs, i can go identify countless times where eli and his receivers are not on the same page.

funny, for a guy who doesn't "have the arm to throw deep" Ryan sure overthrows a lot and underthrows very few.

i don't think arm strength correlates very well with what you're saying. i mean tom brady and michael vick have two of the strongest arms and both underthrow more than most quarterbacks.

you can't tell from the stats if he is under-throwing a guy from 60 yards away, or from 15 yards.

everybody overthrows, matt ryan hasnt a strong arm. Hes got a pretty good arm i.e serviceable. you can overthrow on short and intermediate routes/distances.

Yeah I'd personally like to see Eli's 2010 percentages...I'm pretty novice looking up statistics.

Can you post Carson Palmer's #'s from last season? I'd like to see Cam's and Alex Smith's as well.

Stats have been updated, I added the following QBs
-Cam Newton
-Matt Schaub
-Alex Smith
-Carson Palmer
-Joe Flacco

Also for anyone who wants to go look at it themselves go here
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/football/nfl/stats/2011/passing/0_byRTG.html

Then select the QB whose stats you wish to view, then once on that QB's page go to split stats. There's a couple more stats on there which I didn't include.
