Couldn't think of a pun that involved 6?
Anyways, this is what I'm trying to do with my schedule:
Believe it or not, that's 16 credits. I'm trying to switch my GE/Writing class (the two are a package deal) from MWF to TR. Originally I had three classes on Friday but I switched into the math class that meets only 4 times a week. I'm trying to do that with the GE that meets 4 times a week instead of 5. And I still have a ton of flexibility in trying to change my business classes, which are all at awful times anyway. If I get this schedule, first semester is going to be a breeze. I would rather be in class for an hour and fifteen minutes twice a week instead of 50 minutes three times a week.
PS, those evening classes don't meet every week. The writing one is a guest speaker that occurs once a semester, and the business class meets every other week for a total of 6 times a semester. _________________

It's not a class per se, but it's a writing "lab". Basically all the freshmen in the writing classes gather to see a guest speaker and write about it afterwards. It's tied to the writing class, but it's on its own time slot. _________________

I'm hammered right now but I post for the ppl. First off, idgaf what anyone says, I love my early class schedule. IMO its great for ppl who want to party. Secondly, everyone getting their law degree is exactly why I just may get my ma in Econ and run with it. Brb having a million job options and not paying an arm And a leg to get into a saturated job market.
Honestly tho, who knows at this point, I'll make mad skrilla either way.
Now time to pass out _________________

That's why I like my afternoon schedule. Can stay out and up late without having to worry about oversleeping or being ridiculously tired for class.

Meh, I'm not afraid of competition and challenges. I crave it. It's why I've always loved tests and sports. It's why being I wouldn't mind spending the majority of my life as an evil, soulless monster. _________________

Because I'm "afraid" challenges and competition..
It's just something to consider. Really got nothing with being competitive or not. I'll probably get it anyways, but it won't because I have that competitive fire. It'll because I have a passion for law and think it's a worthwhile investment.
brb, letting people walk all over me because i'm afraid of competition _________________

Does not compute.
Early afternoon classes let you stay up late and get enough sleep. Plus I am not aware of many parties starting in the midafternoon that you would need go clear that part of your schedule for.
If it works for you, good for you. But I simply do not follow that logic. _________________

naps. i'm telling you naps.
i do the same thing on weekends. like last night. went to bed at 3, woke up at 6 and went home. now later i'm going to take an amazing nap.
i'm just saying everyone has different opinions and preferences and i just kind of laugh when a "good schedule" is one where you don't have morning classes and a "bad one" is when you do.
idc though, i be napping and watching arthur while everyone is still stuck in class. _________________

for those of you who hate early morning courses, my schedule must look like a nightmare lol
Monday- Wednesday-Friday
Calc- 8:00-8:50
Soviet Union History- 10:00-10:50
Spanish Lit- 11:00-11:50(this class does not meet fridays)
Intro to French- 1:00-1:50
Tuesday-Thursday
Bio lab- 8:00-9:50(does not meet thursday)
Bio Lecture- 10:30-11:45
Intro to Ethics- 12:00-1:15
...the tuesday-thursday classes might actually start at 8:30, not 8...I have been rocking the MWF schedule the past three semesters so I can't quite remember, but either way, thats basically what I'm in for in September.
Tuesday is the only day that makes me want to puke because there is almost no break in between my courses. But I love my MWF schedule, I have two, hour long breaks for breakfast and lunch. And I have two hours off on friday between my Soviet Union course, and the French class. _________________

Really hope gender is interesting. Sucks I can't take more Econ classes this semester because of the other requirements but forecasting should be fun an we get to go to Chicago and compete our project against northwestern, Madison, Michigan, etc so it should be fun! It's macro tho and I don't have a ton of experience with it at this point _________________

If I could take naps, I would take early classes. But since I can't, I'll stick to my noon/afternoon classes. It works for me and it's not like I'd be productive in the afternoon anyways. _________________

Since I know we touched on this one in the last college thread,
| shawn wrote: | | let me just second this motion...8am classes do not suck nearly as much as people say. I also perfer them, and like Irishgreen said, if you get started with your classes at 8, it leaves plenty of time later in the day. |
Early morning classes aren't for everyone. If you know you won't be able to get up for 8 a.m.'s than don't schedule. Inversely, if you know you're not productive with later afternoon or night classes don't schedule them. _________________
