I've seen Justin Smith bullrush people just like that more then a number of times. And as for the second video, no one even blocks him....

I am going to take Ngata because he has been ELITE since he came out. Justin Smith has always been good but didn't really see this kind of success until he came to San Fran and played in a 3-4 _________________

A lot of that had to do with how bad the Bengals defense was back then. He played next to some crap DT's that didn't make his job any easier. Plus he's not best suited for a 4-3 DE role. He never developed pass rush moves outside of his bull rush. He was great against the run though.
Wish we had him now as our starting 4-3 LDE... _________________

Or maybe he wasnt good until he came to San Fran and got to play with a beast supporting cast on defense that Ngata has always had... _________________

With supporting casts being brought up I guess I can ask this question.
Put Ngata on Smiths old Cincinnati team.. does he have more or less success? _________________

Probably the same. There isn't one person, other than possibly a HOF type pass rusher, that could have made much of a difference over Justin Smith on that Bengals D-Line during his tenure... _________________

if Ngata could avoid the nicks and dings that prevent him from being full-up dominant, I'd go with him, but (thank heavens) he always trails off by the end of the season because he can't stay healthy. Yes, he still plays through the injuries, but his production and effect slip.
However, when he is at 100%, there isn't another more dominating defensive player in the game. _________________

the only answer to this question is "yes please"
They are the two most dominant forces on the inside of the defensive line in the past 15 years as far as I am concerned. |

Warren Sapp, John Randle, and Kevin Williams need to be considered _________________

I love Justin Smith but Ngata is the only person I've ever thought belonged being compared the Bruce Smith who is the de facto GOAT of 3-4 ends. _________________
