2012 3/4 mark update:

Coaches evaluation:
HC - Mike Shanahan - Also calling the plays, and Washington has the 7th ranked O this year, so doing a good job there.

OC - Joe Philbin - hard to discern as he's a HC this year, so I'll leave to you all to decide.

DC - Mike Nolan - Falcons are 4th in Scoring D, so doing pretty well there.

Passing game -

Aaron Rodgers - 1st in QB rating and 2nd in TDs
*Alex Smith - backup why was he benched with over a 100 QBR?
Gronk - even after missing two games, still 2nd for TEs in yards, 10 TDs
Celek - top 10 in yards, 1 TD

4 WRs are in top 25 in yards
- Dez Bryant - head case and inconsistant, I admit, but has 880 yds, 6 TDs (should have taken Demarius Thomas...well played, 43M, waited and got the better WR)
- Lance Moore - 822 yds, 4 TDs
- Malcom Floyd - 704 yds, 4 TDs
- Percy Harvin - 677 yds, 3 TDs (in 9 games, now injured though)

RB Spiller - 3rd in RB receiving yards with 322

If you added up all my players Receiving yards, it would be over 5000 yds, which is 1400 yds more than any team in the NFL, and 30 TDs, which would be 2nd in the NFL.

Running game - 12 Total Rushing TDs, about average
CJ Spiller has been my saving grace...dude has a 6.7 YPC and is top 10 in yards.
Pierre Thomas is doing as well as expected and on pace to match recent totals, though unspectacular
JStew - injury prone and just not much of a positive impact this year.
Michael Bush - performing well in goal line role, as expected.

Offensive line - Don't know the stats, but I've ben hit pretty hard w/ the injury bug this season.
Joe Thomas OT - Probably having his worst season to date with some holding calls, etc.
Carl Nicks OG - Was doing well til IR'd
John Sullivan OC - following up his stellar 2011 season with another great year.
DD OG - IR'd but coming back, so we'll see I guess
Jared Veldheer OT - ???
Geoff Schwartz OG - came back from injury in early Oct.
Mike Adams OT- played pretty well in the run game, abused in the pass game and now injured.
Jonathan Goodwin OC/OG - started every game to date and doing ok, so far as I can tell

DEFENSE

43 DL:
Charles Johnson (8.5 sacks, 6 FF, 4 PD), Sione Pouha (1 sack, 1 PD), Calais Campbell (3.5 sacks, 4 PD), Cliff Avril (7.5 sacks, 1 FF, 1 PD) - 20.5 sacks, 10 Passes defensed from my front 4 so far this year.
Backups:
Jabaal Sheard - 3 sacks, 3 PD
Chris Canty - injured, but since coming back in 5 games, has 2 sacks
Carlos Dunlap - 2 sacks, 1 FF

4-3 LB:
Sean Weatherspoon - 3 sacks, 1 INT, 3 PD, 1 FF
Mathias Kiwanuka - non-factor all season until last week w/ 2 sacks
Stephen Tulloch - decent season, .5 sacks, 5 PD, on pace for over 100 tackles
Melvin Ingram - .5 sacks, 4 PD, 1 FF

Defensive secondary - Clearly my strength
"Peanut" Tillman - DPOY consideration - 2 INT, 2 TD, 7 FF, 10 PD
Joe Haden - suspended for 4 games, but 3 INT, 1 FF, 7 PD
Derek Cox - injured on and off, but 3 INT, 7 PD
Janoris Jenkins - team suspension for a game, but 3 INT, 2 for TD, 12 PD
Alterraun Verner - 2 INT, 1 TD (Fum Rec), 6 PD, 1 FF

Bernard Pollard - 1 INT, 2 sacks, 5 PD
Tyvon Branch - 1 INT, 3 PD
Kenny Phillips - LAME!!!

So, for overall DBs that's 15 INTs, 4 for TDs, 1 fumble rec TD...not to shabby...

BUT, for a defense overall, that's 19, yes count them, 19 FF with total 16 INTs. To put into perspective, that would rank #1 in INTs in the NFL, and #2 in FF

Special Teams -
Alex Henery - 95.2 FG %, up there with the likes of Janikowski and... Suisham...YES, Suisham!!
Brandon Fields - 11th in net punting, 2nd overall with 50.2 YPP
Percy Harvin - 2nd with 35.9 yds per KR w/ 1 TD
Janoris Jenkins - 4.8 yds per PR--meh...
Dez Bryant - 5.5 yds per PR, not much better

Team Overall:

STRENGTHS - QB, WR, TE, DB, DE and of course, creating Turnovers
WEAKNESSES - OL, Interior DL
AVERAGE - Coaching, RB, LB, Special Teams

And...Rodgers beat up Mr. Hubble after class in the school parking lot, at least that's what I heard Laughing

"My WRs are awesome", I said. "4 in top 25 in receiving yards" I said... Brick wall

Floyd--IR
Harvin--IR
Bryant--Broken Finger
Gronk--missed 4 games
...ugh...

on a brighter note, 21 FF between Tillman (10), C. Johnson (7), and C. Dunlap (4)...

...and Avril and Johnson have 20 sacks between them with Campbell, Sheard and Dunlap adding 5, 5 and 4.5 respectively...

...so my D is fearsome, but Rodgers has almost no one to throw to...

How's everyone else doing?!?!

Havent paid much attention to it, but my team is very injury prone and multiple players have busted for me....

Phillip Rivers has sucked....Matt Schaub would actually be starting at this point.

Jamaal Charles still has the same burst I hoped for. Dangerous weapon. Steven Jackson is not a feature back anymore, but a good power back behind Charles.

Calvin Johnson and DeMariyus Thomas would be abssolutely untoppable.

Aaron Hernandez has been hampered by injury but is still very good. Jared Cook has been good as well despite poor QB play.

My OLine sucks...even Kalil. Everyone is either injured or playing poorly.

So, my skill positions on offense are good, but the line is awful

My defense...ugh....

Cameron Wake, Vince Wilfork and Donald Butler are the only reliable, healthy players in my front 7. Wake has been a monster. DeMeco Ryans has been good too, despite the Eagles issues on defnese.

Then....you see that key guys like Brian Cushing, Jon Beason and Ladarius Webb are all on IR, and guys like Tamba Hali and Terrance Knighton have been pretty weak.

My safeties have been balling though. Kam Chancellor has been great again and Weddle is one of the best safeties in the game.

Some bright spots....but Im very disappoint in much of my team. Crying or Very sad

Yep, Schaub was a steal for you..."can't believe he lasted that long"... Laughing

Spiller has been a nice surprise for me, but JStew has been a major bust. Pierre Thomas and Michael Bush are nice role players.

And I agree, your Safety position is tight! My best positon is easily my CBs with Tillman, Haden, Cox, Verner, and J. Jenkins.

QB Peyton Manning is on an MVP type season, need I say more?

RB Frank Gore is on the 2nd best rushing attack and 8th most rushing yards in the NFL.

WR Pierre Garcon has been injured, but when he's in there, the dude shines!

WR Maclin and Nelson both have 5 and 6 TD catches respectively, but not thrown the ball as much as other players. But ohhh they will be involved with Peyton at QB!

TE Mercedes Lewis suffers from a disease called lack of QB, but still has 41 receptions and 5 TD's, solid for a TE.

TE Greshem however, has a better QB and has 61 receptions and 5 TD's and is 30th of all WR's and TE's. Not bad!

Oline Brandon Albert, who analysts say is a top 3 tackle in the NFL right now, and Clady not far behind. Yanda is the best guard in the NFL, and Pouncey keeps improving at becoming the top center. So, basically my offensive line won't allow any disruptions to its QB, or they will be fined by me!

DE Ray McDonald is a key piece in helping the 49ers being the #3 run defense in the NFL.

NT Kyle Williams is on a Bills defense keeps changing, but I can assure you that he is still a freak! He does have 5 sacks.

LB's Ware and Woodley will kill any offensive line out there. I know Woodley is up and down and injured quite a bit, but when he's on this duo will be unstoppable!

ILB Sean Lee was having almost an MVP type season before he got hurt. When he comes back though, the dude will still be insane.

ILB Paul Poz is having a solid season in spite of being on a horrendous team; he is 8th in tackles and has 3 INT's and 2 FF.

CB's Ike Taylor and Carlos Rogers are having solid seasons. There's a reason they are the #1 CB on pass defenses that are ranked #1 and #5 respectively. They can man up against any WR out there. The only downside with them is they cant catch a drop if their life depended on it, but they each do somehow have 1 INT this year, woooo!

S position has been weird. My safety depth guys have been a lot better than my starters. Harrison Smith is up for DROTY, by playing solid defense and has 3 INT's and 2 TD's. Donte Whitner has been, like Rogers a pivotal player in helping the 49ers being #5 pass defense in the NFL.

K Scobee still makes kicks even though he doesn't get many chances. P Dustin Colquitt has the most punts inside the 20 yard line with 41!

Stafford is in the top 5 in terms of passing yards but their offense is struggling to put up points and has threw more INTs then Id like to see.

Running game is so/so. Chris Johnson has almost 1200 yds after a slow start and Mathews cant shake the injury bug.

WR corp is my best part of my team. Marshall has 1400 yds and 10 TDs, Crabtree has almost 900 and 7 TDs, Antonio Brown has 668 yds with 3 TDs. Litt has been an average #4 and my TE duo has been ok although Keller has under achieved but can you blame him? lol

Offensive line is alright would have liked to see more depth but starters are fine.

DL- I like Keisel has stepped up his game these past 2 months, Raji is still one of the best NTs in the game, and Odrick is having a nice season down in Miami, even has 5 sacks.

LBs- Inside im golden. Darly Washington is a stud this season: 115 tackles, 93 solo, 1 INT, 2 FF, 9 sacks. Dansby had a solid season too but nothing fancy. I love my OLB duo but injuries to Orakpo and Suggs killed this group from being elite. Thank goodness Anthony Spencer had a career year and put up 10 sacks.

CBs- Revis being out hurts a ton but luckily I had Richard Sherman to step right in and not miss a beat. He'd be a starter is Revis was healthy. DRC played ehhh and Gilmore was a rookie and honestly I havent watched him to much.

Safeties- Earl Thomas is still a top flight safety and Ryan Clark is having one of his best years as a pro.

Im sorry for not posting my roster before, i was leaving for college and it was the last thing on my mind but how do you guys like my team? I never got to hear any input because I never posted my roster Embarassed

Placekicker: Dan Carpenter

KOR:Darren Sproles/Randall Cobb
PR: Darren Sproles

Injuries to Wells, Grimes, and Marshall don't look so good.

Offense across the board, and front 7 defensively look as strong as I could have hoped.

Newton's playing at an elite level right now after a slow start, 3 RB likely to finish with 1k yds and 10+TD's, 4 WR's looking at 1000k plus yards and 8-10 TD's each. A pair of workmanlike TE's surrounds a very strong OL....I accept any and all criticism that comes with having Colon. Embarrassed I picked him.

In addition to their offensive contributions Sproles and Cobb are as dangerous a pair of returnmen as there is.

This is going to be a tough offense for any other squad to hang with.

Defensively, Pierre-Paul and Williams have been a little quiet likely due to nagging injuries, but they are as good a pair of 43 bookends as their is. Atkins is the best 3 tech in the league bar none. Houston, Mincey, and Melton have all shown to be decently productive back-ups.

LB's are dominant with Kuechly, David, and Jackson...better than I anticipated even. Anderson has played very well, Upshaw not so much, and McCarthy has had a lost season with concussion issues.

Secondary is the weak link. Tramon Williams has bounced back nicely, but losing Grimes and Marshall hurts. The S play has been very good from Jenkins and Burnett..Wilson's been pretty meh tho.

Overall, outside of injuries and having Poop Chute on the roster, I'm pretty happy with the way this team has produced.

Yep, Treat, I'm looking pretty smart now having you as my top rated team...

...too bad I couldn't figure it out sooner when mosteelers and I were drafting!!! Embarassed

Ehh...Cam Newton was mediocre most of the year. Just because he has been good for the last month doesnt really change alot.

And as good of 43 bookends as there is? Mario Williams has just flat out been awful, and not just because of injury. Dont think the LB corps is as good as treat states either. Not bad, but dominant? David is the only one that has really dominated at any point this year. Kuechly is doing exactly what I thought coming out. Racking up huge tackle stats, but has little overall impact on games. Hardly any splash plays at all. And DQ has been pretty avreage this year.

Its a subjective thing, but outside of Green, Rice, and Atkins, Im still not seeing anything to rave over. Middle of the pack from what Im looking at.

PS...Im not trying to put down treats team. I think it has turned out better than I thought it would, but certain parts were pimped up to be better than they actually were IMO.

Hard to say. Guys like Williams and Woodley have been average at best and probably not even that, Lee is injured, Poz is pretty average, and even Ware hasnt been as dominant.

Again, not dogging your D either. Lord knows my defense has holes on it, especially with the injuries.

If we didnt factor injuries and factored in entire bodies of work, yours would definitely be higher, and probably the top rated IMO.

I definitely earn the middle of the pack slap down for having Willie Colon on the roster, I'll give 43 that much at least.

But a backfield w/ Rice, Martin, Sproles, and Richardson combined w/ a WR corps of Green, Jones, VJax, and Cobb is amazingly formidible...combined they are the best of any roster out there.

@43--You easily have the best "1-2 punch" at WR with Megatron and D. Thomas, but I think you might be underrating Treat's WR/RB corps as a group, but hey, we've all got opinions...

...and hey, this was about me looking smart for ranking Treat high more than Treat's success in drafting, it's all I've got to hang on to at this point!! Laughing

At this point, if I had to rank the best team at given positions (including backups), this is how I'd view it (not ranking myself, of course)

QB: at23/BigBen07
RB: Treat
WR: Treat/jcm
TE: Keth
OL: ?? (so many injuries out there, tough to say)
DL: Keth (Watt is hard to ignore)
LB: sc29
CB: Too tough to call--3 to 4 decent groups
S: 43M/Waffles

just a few updates to the team

Running game -
Marshawn Lynch - 2nd in the NFL in rushing yards behind Adrian Peterson, with 1 more TD to his name. Put up his 3rd consecutive 100+ yard rushing game vs. San Francisco

Offensive line -
Russell Okung Calais Campbell (twice), DeMarcus Ware, Clay Matthews, Robert Quinn, Chandler Jones, Aldon Smith (twice), Justin Smith (once), Jared Allen, Cam Wake, and Julius Peppers. That's who Russell Okung has faced this season. Total sacks allowed: one (1).

Wade Smith - 7 sacks, 1 false start, 0 holding penalties...over the last 3 seasons combined
Max Unger - has yet to allow a sack this year. With Okung, continues to dominate in the run game.

DEFENSE

Defensive line
Chris Long (8.5 sacks), Marcel Dareus (5.5 sacks), JJ Watt (20.5 sacks), and Justin Houston (10.0 sacks) = 44.5 sacks from the DL alone this season. The 1995 Pittsburgh Steelers had 42 sacks as a team.

Muhammad Wilkerson also put up another sack in the NYJ 2-gap 3-4 defense, putting him at 5 sacks

4-3 LB:
James Laurinaitis - up to 115 solos to go with a sack, 4 passes defensed and a pair of interceptions. Darn good season overall

Defensive secondary:
Brandon Carr - ouch...that's all I have to say after last week. Sad

Antoine Bethea - very solid in-the-box safety who is up to 5 consecutive seasons with 70+ solo tackles. Add in a pair of sacks and 7 passes defensed.

Quintin Mikell - 3 sacks, top 10 in fumbles forced, to go along with just under 100 total tackles (80 solos)

Jason McCourty - Titans fans seem to love him. I liked him last season, and watched a few games and he was a shutdown guy. Leasd the team in picks, passes defensed, and is tied for 3rd on the team in tackles for loss to go along with 85 tackles[/u]
