| Kerry Meier was not QB quality in college, he certainly isnt one in the NFL. Why cut Redman, hes an at least average backup QB in this league |

It's just for fun, but I have a TON of faith in Keenum's skills. If I didn't the move wouldn't have been made. I expect Keenum to be a quality starter in the NFL one day... I am also not on the Redman train to say the least. I don't think he is an average backup. He's not the worst, but he is not average to me either (it might be that I went to a game where he started and it ended with Michael Vick chants and the Falcons lost by 25+)..
I have Meier on the depth chart at QB more as like a wildcat option. I expect him to line up at QB sometime during the season and I also expect him to throw a pass in the season. Nothing more than that. If our top 2 QBs got hurt in no way did I mean he would be the starter. _________________

Just made a trade with the Dolphins..
The Atlanta Falcons Receive:
35th overall pick
67th overall pick
99th overall pick
The Miami Dolphins Receive:
22nd overall pick

I was happy to get out of the first as I had a player in mind to target that will almost surely be there at 35. _________________

With the 35th pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Atlanta Falcons select.... Tyler Eifert, TE Notre Dame
| Quote: | | With this pick the Atlanta Falcons select this year's top TE. Tyler will be a great fit in our offense and locker room. He has proven himself to be this year's top TE and is a very good pass catcher and can also block very well. Welcome to the organization Tyler! |

With the 54th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft the Atlanta Falcons select... Jonathan Jenkins, NT/DT Georgia.
| Quote: | | With this pick we get a versatile defensive lineman that can fit what we are planning on doing in the future, and can fit in our 4-3 base and our 3-4 looks as well. Welcome to Atlanta Jonathan! |

With the 67th pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Atlanta Falcons select... Arthur Brown, LB Kansas State
| Quote: | | We picked another versatile defender that can play more than one position. It also strengthens our LBing core depth. Welcome to Atlanta Arthur! |

Yeah, I was trying to find positions we needed starters or rotation players at but there really isn't many. Hopefully that's a good thing for us this year _________________

With the 99th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Atlanta Falcons select.... Eddie Lacy, RB Alabama.
| Quote: | | We feel as if Eddie Lacy could step in and play big for us from the beginning which is enticing, but we also have a good RB core so this just adds to our rotation and depth. We think Eddie can be a special player in the NFL. Welcome to the Falcons Eddie! |

I was just going to go BPA at a couple of positions. I was either going to go Swope or Lacy but Swope was taken a few picks before mine so I just got Lacy. Either way worked for me. Appreciate the feedback. _________________

Double-Dipped at TE. In real life TE situation would be Eifert/Ertz/Palmer, but in this we are not considering retirements so I had to cut Michael. Either way our TEs would be phenomenal.
With the 118th pick in the 2013 NFL draft the Atlanta Falcons select... Zach Ertz, TE Stanford.
| Quote: | | With this pick we are keeping up our mentality of being explosive. Zach is a great young man with great receiving skills for a big TE. I think he can add a good element to our current TE core. Welcome to Atlanta Zach! |

Buyer Beware! UGA has serious discipline problems currently. The intelligence of the athletes there is definitely below average at best. Maybe he is not like the four to be kicked, I would just stay away right now. Hopefully Richt gets the program straightened out. |
