this is disappointing considering he's supposed to be the guy to come in and take that number two spot. I expected better from him. So... is this another suspension yet to come or will he just get a warning?

Did Schwartz say that he addressed this with the team after the last arrest, and institute a zero tolerance policy?
Or did I just make that up in my head?
Regardless, it sucks that guys like Stafford and Johnson have to associated with all of this. It's not exactly fair to the stand up guys. |

I believe just a warning since it's his first run-in since entering the league. His second overall though IIRC he had one at Pitt.

I think this is the perfect time to cut somebody. I know he is supposed to be the starter and if he is gone that leaves us with A. Smith (yuck) and Bentley (Rook), but it is time to send a message. Cutting Berry wouldn't kill this team, anymore trouble just might. Berry is an injury prone work in progress type player, his upside isn't worth his downside. |

Why are so many Lions fans so in love with Berry? He does have no upside, he's terrible. He should be cut because he sucks, not because he got in trouble.
As for the offseason full of arrests, it's time the Lions make some kind of a statement to get this to end, it's obvious that there is a lack of discipline with this team and as much as I've been defending Schwartz' role in the lack of discipline I really can't anymore, he and/or Mayhew need to do something about this, it's beyond stupid.

I'm not in love with him at all, but everything I've read out of the early offseason is that the coaches are very high on him and he may start this year. So, I have a hard time thinking they'd cut him. But, I'd have absolutely no problem if they did it. They need to send a message.
