With the 16th Pick in the 2013 NFL Draft the Tampa Bay Buccaneers select Manti Te'o, MLB, Notre Dame
| Quote: | | A year ago are linebacking core was pretty bad no one could tackle. We got rid of Geno Hayes and drafted David and Goode. Now with us drafting Te'o I feel like are linebacking core is set. This makes Foster move over to SLB and have Black back him up, even if Te'o gets out we can up Foster back at MLB and Black at SLB. Te'o will ancor the MLB spot and Goode can play the 3rd down cause he is a thumper in the run support. Now that we drafted David last year he will start the WLB and have Watson backing up not only the WLB but the MLB and SLB. Te'o played great last year with 7 double digits tackles and a total of 120 tackles and 5 sacks. He was going to be a easy first rounder last year but came back to school. |
Welcome to Tampa Te'o _________________

With the 16th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft...
...The St. Louis Rams select:
Barrett Jones - LT - Alabama
| wrote: | | Seeing how not a single T had been taken and figuring a run on them would proceed soon, the Rams thought it was in their best interest to trade up and acquire the most experienced and versatile lineman in the entire draft. Jones will immediately move Roger Saffold to RT, a position he's much more suited for, as he step-ins at LT. With Jones' versatility and Saffolds ability to play LT, the Rams will be able to shuffle their line in case of emergency at any time. Jones blue-collar attitude fits what Jeff Fisher is trying to bring to St. Louis |

With the 18th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft...
...The Tennessee Titans select:
DE/DT - Margus Hunt - Southern Methodist University
| Quote: | | With the addition on Hunt, it adds to our already very young and talented D-Line with Casey, Klug, Morgan, Solomon, and Martin. Hunt is very versatile with his size being able to slide inside to DT if we needed him to. With his projected 4.6 speed and 40+ reps, there was no way Tennessee could pass on this Margus. Margus has all the potential in the world, and we feel we can help him reach that and become 1 of the best D-Lineman in the league. With this pick, Hunt becomes the second Estonian to play in the NFL, the 1st being his teammate, all-pro LT Michael Roos. |

With the 22nd Overall Pick in the 2013 NFL draft, the Miami Dolphins select:
Bjoern Werner DE, Florida State
The Dolphins are ecstatic to add a player of Werner's caliber to their team opposite Cameron Wake. Werner possesses an incredible motor and love for the game, which shows on every down.
He will start immediately at the LDE spot and should develop into a Pro Bowl player under the guidance of DL coach Kacy Rodgers. _________________

The Denver Broncos select Oday Aboushi (OT-Virginia)
The Broncos walk with a player who I believe will go in the Top-10 this year. The fit isn't perfect but the value is too good to pass up. This allows Orlando Franklin to move inside to Guard, because he had a tough run of it on the outside. |

The New Orleans Saints select:
Jackson Jeffcoat, DE Texas
The Saints desperately need to add a pure pass rusher to the line-up as Will Smith hasn't been producing as well as he used to as he's been constantly injured and it's about time for him to hang up his cleats. Jeffcoat will be an immediate upgrade in passing situations and give us something that resembles pressure on the QB. _________________

The Bears select Luke Joeckel (OT-TAMU)
Joeckel for my money is the 2nd best LT prospect in the draft, and will give the Bears two bookend tackles for years to come. Along with getting rid of Martz in the offseason, the Bears should have a very strong line for the first time in ever. |
