Nice BIG win for Baldy!! He is sitting pretty on the top. Also, our rookie, Fasel got himself a win. And Irish, you had me shaking in my boots all day Sunday, but I'll take the narrow victory!!
Good first week, gentlemen!! Don't forget your lineups!! |
Merc,
I didn't see the score for my game but you posted that I had a win. Will you please post the score for that game the first week. Also, how did this week turn out?

Can't say I am upset with being 2-0!! Then again, there are 3 other teams with the same record.
I love how close many of these match up have been. It tells me that we all had decent drafts. Keep those lineups fresh and good luck this coming week, everyone!

I think I just lured you into a false sense of security. You were up 40 going into the MNF game and I had Dez Bryant and Chicago D left to play. Thank you, Tony Romo. Welcome to the 0-4 club, Irish _________________

Another MNF comeback for me. Down 30 with D-Thomas and Gates left to play. It's only the start of the 3rd quarter and Gates has 2 TDs and Thomas has 1 TD. I'm up eight points and don't need to sweat it out. My team is CLUTCH. _________________

Wow, I have been derelict in my duty to keep up with the posting of the standings. So here goes:
CURRENT STANDINGS
Fin Forum Fantasy League
1. Bryan's Cox 7-0 W7
2. Brawlin' Baldys 5-2 W1
3. Team 9954 5-2 W3
4. To The HOUSED 4-3 L1
5. Merc's Maulers 4-3 W1
6. FinMan Dominates 3-4 L1
7. First Place Fasel 3-4 L1
8. Miami Midgets 3-4 W1
9. Seattle Blue Fins 3-4 L1
10. Belfast Irish Lads 2-5 W1
11. SmokeRicky Smoke 2-5 L3
12. Dolfan4life Detroyers 1-6 L4
That's a most impressive 7 game win streak Bryan's Cox!!
Looks like another tight race for the playoffs. Keep those line ups fresh!! _________________ "22 players are involved in every football play. To value precisely the activity of one of them, it is first necessary to account for the actions of the other 21" |

Ughh my team has fallen off a cliff. My first 2 picks (Stafford and Andre) have been absolutely terrible. Sad really. _________________

It is amazing how two picks can set a team back. Or even one pick for that matter.
What I have noticed, though, is that if you can scrap together a team and eek into the playoffs anything can happen. Its a whole new ball game in the playoffs and any one team can get hot. And for that matter, any one team can lay a goose egg. _________________ "22 players are involved in every football play.
