Johnson City went 8 2/3 innings of no-hit baseball tonight.
Carson Kelly got his first hit of his pro career, a single in the top of the 2nd inning. Finished the day 2/4 with a double. |

I wonder if Mattheny thinks about moving Craig to 2nd in the future, or did that idea leave with Tony?
I'd love to see Craig as the starting 2nd basemen next season with Adams playing 1st. (Let it be known I have a massive man crush on Matt Adams lol)

Matt Adams has ALOT more to show before I'm ready to hand him the full-time 1B role in 2013...
I don't see the Cards moving Craig to 2B again, I think that ship has sailed. I think they like him in that flex role, where he plays 1B and RF. I think that's what you'll see until Beltran's deal is up...

I may be a bit too optimistic in regards to Adams, but I feel like he'll do a lot better his next stint in the majors(maybe September?). Hopefully he isn't another AAAA player like Greene.
