Griffn received the franchise tag from the Titans earlier this off-season, the two sides were able to reach a 5-year deal that will lock Griffin up until around age 32.

The two time Pro-Bowler was an All-Pro selection in 2010, he recorded 17 INTs during his 5-year career.

7/year is not bad. Wonder what the exact numbers are, and how easily/quickly the Titans can get out of it if he doesn't play to expectations...

If Griff doesn't have a VERY good year this fall, I quit. We already wasted massive amounts of money with a long-term contract on Eugene Amano.

For all the great work Reiny's front office does they make questionable calls sometimes like: Amano's contract, Jovan Haye signing and resigning Griff before the season starts. I hope they have a escape clause if he is not performing like a All-Pro this year. Brick wall

The Titans should renegotiate with Hasselbeck and give him $50 million this season.

I have no clue why they did this.... i dont get it some times hes an average at best starter nothing more. He's such a bad tackler does nothing in one on one coverage hes at his best when hes in a deep zone coverage and thats basically all he can do but there are alot of times where you see 6 points because of blown coverage because of him to
