We have a winner-!
Maybe not on the stats predictions- that remains to be seen during the season- but kudos to Maddog for being the first person to spell Brian Hartline's name correctly, and not as the ever-popular "Brain".
Well done. |

So far not too many Lamar Miller fans, and it looks like just about everyone thinks Tannehill might start 2 or 3 games at the end of the year and that's it. _________________

I really like Miller but given his injuries and lack of blocking skills I'm not getting my hopes up for him to contribute too much this season. _________________ NFL: Miami Dolphins

I like Miller too, but I think he was brought in because this is Bush's contract year and if Bush wants a big payday, well step in Miller. I think we see him in a limited support role unless Bush or Daniels gets hurt then he will be used more.
Tanney will start around week 9-10 (my guess espically if we are out of the hunt (which imo we already are) but if we are like 5-4 6-2 in week 9-10 I dont think they will let Tanney start till around Week 12-13 when we fall off. _________________

But if Miller is in a supporting role, then he should get at minimum 5 or 6 carries a game, which adds up to roughly 86 carries over the course of 16 games. Most of y'all are saying he will get half of that, or that he will only average 3.8 yards per carry. I don't see that. I think he will have a high average, because many of his carries will be draws and passing situation type stuff. Scat backs always have higher averages. And I personally see him taking 8 carries a game. If we assume we rush the ball on average 30 times a game, then that leaves 22 for Bush and all other backs. I can't see Bush getting any more than 15 or 16, which leaves 6 more carries a game for the QB, FB, and third stringer (Thomas?) _________________
