Harvin said yesterday he had several issues with the team. League sources say Harvin has requested a trade, but doubtful it's granted.

Big news if true given that he is a pretty big part of their offense.

Any Vikings fans know whats behind it?

We have no idea. Trying to figure out what the heck is going on. All of this came out of left field yesterday.

This is kind of crazy. I wonder what is behind all of this.

Could it be his role with the team?

Shocked

I doubt he get's that wish granted, but I wouldn't mind if the Eagles looked into it.

If by some miracle it happened chances are highly likely he ends up in the AFC.

It is a weird situation.

I think that Harvin is looking for #1 WR money, but I doubt that is everything that is going on, could be playing time issue, some of which has come from him being dinged up historically, but very odd timing.

didn't they just spend 50 million dollars on a duel threat?

this Harvin story is developing fast i have to say. just yesterday the talk was that Harvin might hold out for a new contract...and today he is asking to be traded.

I feel he's worth a first rounder and more. I have no idea if the other teams feel that way but I'd be upset with anything less.

Dude's a waste. His migraines are a serious issue...and other than his rookie season which he put up modest production the guy has been average. It could be his QB play...but we saw what better WRs have done with mediocre QBs.

Last year was his best year yet. Almost cracked 1000 yards receiving and had over 350 rushing. 8 total touchdowns.

He's legit. You're just not paying attention.

Yea, he doesnt put up numbers in the conventional way and probably will never put up top 5, but he is a threat which is biggest strength.

Honestly, this scares, but at the same time, it seems like not saying anything to the media means he doesnt want out as much, but who knows. Seems weird that it has gotten this far and no one knows exactly why.

I would not be surprised to see the Jets swoop in. If the Jets hadn't traded up for Sanchez in the 2009 draft, they would have picked Harvin.

Nice offer...

Quote:

TE Fred Davis
QB Kirk Cousins (Ponder type player)
for
WR Percy Harvin
QB Joe Webb (RG3 type of player with needed work)
