Hahaha that's pretty damn funny about the ring. I've honestly spent a lot of time to take a step back and see how our relationship is from the outside, or as much as I was able to, to make sure I wasn't just blinded. I've gotten a lot of reassurance from family and friends, they all love her and tell me we are perfect and all that jazz, which is how I felt anyway. She's been married once before too. I see that as a good thing- we both know why our first ones didn't work, what ruined it for us, what we did wrong, etc. besides, everyone knows the first one is your practice marriage.
We have separate houses, but we stay together like 3/4 of the time. She will stay at my place for a week, then I stay at hers for a week, and we alternate like that. Usually with a week or couple days here or there separately. We jive well living together. |
my problem was she had been staying at my place every weekend and it was all good. but 7 days a week was a diff story lol. its cool that you are good with her family that is major.
we got in a major argument cause long story short she hates her dad but still lets him run her life. basically her sister and brother both hate their dad and pretend like he doesnt exist. i almost had to fight him cause he was threatening her. it was my sons b-day and her dad had been acting crazy lately so i was like naw he cant come to the bday party cause i know if he got outa line my fam wouldnt hesitate to put him in check. long story short i refused, put my foot down and she was like dont make me choose. i said fine dont choose pick him thats your dad i cant get in the middle of that.
so if you like her family than thats great cause fam does matter. you dont just marry the chick you marry her whole fam lol |
That's so true.
Next time you have a first date you need to invite the girl's entire family haha. Just find out from the get go if they are crazy or not.
