LeBron James is far and away the best player in the game. The amount of hate he gets is unreal. And lol at him "taking the easy way out." Last I checked, a free agent is just that, a free agent. Maybe Cleveland shouldn't have surrounded him with crap for 7 years.

name another championship nba team with 3 gold medalist?

That's pretty much irrelevant. Jordan had Pippen and the greatest coach ever. Kobe was a sidekick to arguably the most dominant force ever, had Gasol/Bynum/Odom, and had the greatest coach ever. The showtime Lakers were loaded and had Pat Riley at the helm. Let's not act like LeBron is the only superstar who needed help here. He took a terrible team to the finals by himself. Haters will continue to hate, I guess.

Let's be real here. Pippen joined the Bulls as a rookie. He wasn't an established player in the NBA. That relationship was grown organically.

Kobe was a rookie (1996) when Shaq came to LA. A rookie coming from High school. Again, grown organically. They had no idea the player Kobe would become and it didn't happen for a number of years.

Gasol/Odom are role players. Neither was in the same category as Wade or Lebron. Bynum, again a High School player drafted in 2005, so what's he have to do with anything?

Face it. There has NEVER been a situation like the Heat's current one. A league MVP joining a top 5 player and NBA Finals MVP and bringing another NBA All-star into the mix.

It was a manufactured team of current All-stars in their prime coming together for what made for an easy championship. The embarrassing part is, they lost to Dallas last year.

The Heats manufactured team has now forced other teams to do the same. It's already ruining the NBA product and shortly will be 100% un-watchable.

Kind of like the T.Ocho cinco show Laughing

They did nothing illegal? Yankees do it all the time. Phillies tried to do it, it just hasn't worked out for them. Wink

Why is it necessary that teams are "grown organically"? A superstar is a superstar, and the fact remains that Noone has or can do it themselves. Closest to that was Lebron in Cleveland.

Not entirely the same though. In the NBA, if you have 2 superstars or even 1 with good role players, you can win titles. Shaq & Kobe, Shaq & Wade, Kobe & Co., Dirk & Co.,The 90's Bulls, 80's Lakers (Magic & Kareem), 80's Celtics (Bird & Co), etc. But they picked up 3 guys who are among the best at their positions in a sport where only 5 are allowed to play at once.

In baseball, you have 9 guys plus a pitcher out there at all times and typically each guy abts about 4 times a game. Plus they sit games in the regular season because it's so long. They don't have the same opportunities to affect the game as NBA players do unless you're talking about pitchers (Which I'll give you in a lot of cases esp NYY).

The Heat really did something that hasn't been done before in sports. I mean in a way it is similar to the Yankees and situations where teams have resources so they use them. But has there really ever been a time when that many elite players have chosen to pretty much employ collusion? Especially in a sport where that many great guys can pretty much make it unfair. That's what makes it different.

I'm just saying it isn't the same thing.

That's nothing. I'm sure you have a nice, new car that can handle it.
