also, I only think that it would add pressure on Romo and the media likely would start to wonder if two big moves on QB in one off season, is a sign that Jerry don't trust Romo. we don't need any distractions for Romo like that.. |
You really think Colt McCoy is going to make Romo nervous? Give the guy some credit _________________

no. just saying that it will get the media speculation starting, which can cause distractions for Romo to get the same questions again and again about Jerry not trusting him.. and can you imagine the media if Romo has another game like he had against Lions or the Jets? _________________ The lonely supporter of Phil Costa.. |

I see where you are coming from, but I really don't think it will distract him at all. He is a professional, he knows that his job is secure, despite what the media does _________________

If we are going to use a late draft pick to upgrade a position, I can think of a lot of positions I'd rather upgrade before 3rd string QB. My thinking is that the only way we trade for Colt is if our OL is truly that terrible that the 3rd stringer could legitimately see playing time. Otherwise, I think we'd be better off using a late pick to upgrade 3rd WR, OC, OG, S, DE and NT positions. _________________ Quote from May 7, 2013...

On May 9th, 2013, Brian Price was waived by the Dallas Cowboys. |

I can see that viewpoint. I even agree about 3rd WR, OC and NT. I think we need to wait and see what we have at S and OG. But, why in the world did you pick DE as a position that needs to be upgraded? Hatcher, Lissmore, Spears, Coleman, Geathers and Crawford aren't enough for you? _________________

I just like the idea of buying low(7th) and potentially selling higher(4th), if a team has an injury and wants someone with starter experience that doesn't have a huge contract. |
