This is going to be much like the Babe Bracket, but with adult beverages. Nominate your top 5 choices in each of the categories. Nominations will be open through Friday at 12:00pm CDT. At that time, I will tally up the votes, seed the tourney and post a bracket. The categories are...
1. Beer & Malt Liquor
2. Spirits
3. Mixed Drinks
4. Wine & Champagne
The top 8 seeds from each category will make the tournament.

| Was gonna vote, but this will be too large. Alcohol, Beer, Wine, and Mixed Drinks. Are you gonna have Patron vs Guinness? Grey Goose vs Bloody Mary. Even though blood mary has vodka? I'll pass on this one. |

We are not going to have a beer only bracket or a vodka only bracket or a bourbon only bracket. MOst of us drink, but not all of us have a favorite scotch, bourbon, vodka, etc.. So, we are going with one bracket for all types. We very well might end up with Captain and Coke vs Bud Light Platinum in one round. Then the winner might go on to face Malibu Coconut Rum or some other fruity drink, if Des has his way. Whatever the people vote in is what we are going to go on. Highest number of nominations will be the highest seed.

I think beer, wine, and spirits should be three separate categories. It's unfair to compare beer to a mixed drink.

definitely agree on this. the situation completely dictates what im in the mood for. then it gets into selecting a variety.

How about this? We have 2 sides of the bracket. One side will be the beer & malt liquor side. The other side will be the wine & spirits side. Then the winners of each side will face off in the finals. Everybody cool with that?
