|

Yes, Ladies and Gentlemen, the time is once again upon up to bestow glory on one of your fellow posters. It has been talked about in other threads and the consensus is that this is a good time to conduct the awards, because of the high European Championship traffic. As nobody else had created the threat, I saw it fit to volunteer myself
The format of the awards will be exactly the same as last year. Only one award can be won per poster, you can only vote for one person in each category, you can only vote for each member once and of course no voting for yourselves. When you fill out your ballot just pm it to me, I will give it 1 week and at that point I will close the voting and announce the awards. The categories are the same as last year, with one added addition. However, we can rename the awards and all suggestions will be welcomed in here. Here is a reminder of the awards (lifted from Lee and the first one )
Without further adieu here are the catogories:
Most knowledgeable poster:
Most underrated poster:
Best rookie award:
Funniest poster:
The Biggest Homer Award:
An award for the poster that everyone values but doesn't post as much as everyone would like and everyone wants to see more of:
And finally the grand prize for all around greatness.....
The Mario Balotelli Legend Award
Finally I want to add an award for your favourite thread of the year
Thread of the Year Award
Now get out there and vote! _________________

How exactly does one gauge the rookie of the year poster? by forum joining date or when they start posting in the soccer forum? _________________ It's [insert any time here] and Georgetown still sucks! |

This is why I want a list of new posters. Makes it a lot easier to know who you can vote for. _________________

We had this issue last time. I believe it was decided upon that it didn't matter on your start date, so long as they were fairly new to the Soccer forum. In this case, I'm willing to accept people who started posting around the time of the last awards. Such as;
Yankee, Iamrobot, TeamOrange, Dr Philly.
And so on, if you aren't sure then send me a PM. _________________

Just to clarify guys, you can only vote for one person per award, and you can only vote for each member once. _________________
