Apparently they signed him today. Liked his toughness, attitude and hands. Wish he were a little faster.

He made one play in how many seasons with the team? He was a nothing player from on a really bad idea for a reality tv show. His non-tributions won't be missed.

The team has better, more talented options at WR. Holley was just a good special teams player - well, good might be a little generous.

We need some speed at WR no more Patrick Craytons

Who are these better options at WR that we have? Im not sure its a huge loss but Ogletree is a flat out JOKE. The other guys behind him are unproven players in the same vein as Holley.

we got a lot of guys with MUCH more upside. also, the coaches have had years to see what Holley can bring to the team and if he ever can be more then he was for us last season, and they obviously feels like those guys we have now are better. his 7 receptions over what? 3-4 years shows that he just isnt a NFL reciever.. and he doesnt really have that much upside.

and yes, even Ogletree is a better option. he wouldnt have been above Holley on the depth chart for those years if he wasnt.

Do I ever think he'll be a star,...no. I do think it's possible he could become a solid possession type receiver. Get 40 rec for 500 yards and 4 td's. Maybe NE wants a camp body, but I hope he makes the most of it.

Holley will be lucky to have 40 receptions in his entire career. He's 28 years old and has shown very little ability at WR. I'm not even sure he'll make NE's roster, let alone be in a position to get 40 receptions in that offense given the weapons they already have.

I was judging based on what i have seen with my own 2 eyes not how they are listed on our depth chart. Depth Chart doesn't always tell the full story, a quick example of that is When Tony Romo was our #3 and Drew Henson was our #2

I'm confused as to how you become a fan of certain players. It seems to me that you would be all over Jesse Holley. Non-tributions haven't kept you from McQuistan or LYNN SCOTT. Holley has everything you could ask for in a plan9 player. Interesting background, goofy looking, never going to amount to anything in the NFL, and a now former Cowboy. At least Holley helped us win a game once.

Just curious ad to why he didn't make the plan9 squad, when it seems he is a prototype
