http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/brian-banks-accepts-seattle-seahawks-tryout-offer-minicamp-061012

Quote:
Banks' agent, Bruce Tollner, confirmed Sunday that after flying to Kansas City for a workout with the Chiefs, Banks is expected to head to the Pacific Northwest and participate in the Seahawks' minicamp. The minicamp starts Tuesday, and Banks' first day taking part with the Seahawks is expected to be Wednesday.

Quote:
Banks had a private workout at the Seahawks' practice facility Thursday where he was put through a variety of drills and ran a 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds. Banks, a star linebacker in high school, measured 6-foot-2 and 239 pounds and is getting looked at as a linebacker option for the Seahawks.

I'm really pumped that he's getting a chance to play for us. I doubt he makes the final 53, but he has a great chance to make the practice squad and learn the game again.

I truly hope Banks makes the Seahawks (or another) roster. Best of luck to him.

I cant read anything about this guy without getting mad.

Dont get me wrong, I wish him the best, but I wish absolutely nothing but the worst for the rest of her pathetic existence. Having two people in my life who actually HAVE been victims, I have no remorse for anything that happens to her. People like that are just as bad as the people who actually do it.

Sorry...not trying to derail the thread, but like I said...it infuriates me to no end.

Hope he can find success and build the career he shouldve been able to build long ago.

Just going to echo what everyone else is saying, hope he finds a way on to their roster, but I'm glad to see he's getting a fair shot whether or not he can make the roster.

thank you soooo much for your totally non-football, politicized, socially related rant. the site would be sooo much better if everyone did this.

Really rooting for this guy. I can he has what it takes to make the team. After all he's been through, I can't imagine how I'd feel if I had my future taken from me for no reason.

Anyone know any info on his physical tools? Is he strong? fast? Etc?
