Another thing to consider when talking about LeBron having as many championships as Jordon did at age 27 is that Jordon played in a much better, and tougher era in basketball. Thats not something that can be proven really, just a personal opinion. Teams were able to be much more physical then they are today, and the level of competition was tougher then the NBA as a whole of today.

Im not a LeBron hater, I think hes possibly the most naturally talented player to ever play the game, but at times I do question his "clutch gene." Its not that hes not capable of playing in the fourth quarter or making the big shot, but I question his mind frame in those situations at times. I think he settles for jump shots way to often in crunch time. He likes that step back, or to pop threes even if hes been off all game and getting to the rim at will. I also think some of that is because he doesnt trust his ability to knock down free throws and doesnt want to have to go to the line and hit them consistently to win. Again not something I can prove, but thats my feelings on the matter.

However I will say that all of LeBron's flaws are correctable. He can develop a more consistent jump shot and getting in the gym could really help in the free throw department and thus cut down on the unnecessary threes. I expect LeBron to get a couple of rings (dont think it will be this year though). And largely because I believe his work ethic will allow him for fill the holes currently in his game.

Ive never blamed LeBron for wanting out of Cleveland, but I did have a problem with the way he handled the situation. I personally wouldnt want to go play with three other elite players, just because im too competitive and would want to do it on a team that I knew was mine, but again I dont blame him for that, just a different line of thinking. My only issue was that he didnt need a TV special, and he didnt have to act so upset or shocked at the backlash. Hes not a dumb guy, if he thought people were going to accept him leaving his home town state in stride then he was dreaming.

They had every right to be upset, just as much of a right as LeBron did to want out. I just feel like the whole decision and celebrating before they won anything was ridiculous, and I didnt think thats the way a (then) two time MVP should be handling himself, but to each his own. I think with more time people will forget about it (except Cleveland fans) and we can again focus on his game, and his game alone. Winning is the best medicine. Its going to be very interesting to see how he carries himself in the finals and how he preforms.

I wish I was as calm and level headed as LLWFC...I'm too much of a hot head and it can cloud my mind, take away rationality and ruin my argument Laughing Embarassed

Gotta settle down and give more compelling arguments with more opinions/facts
