According to staff writer Nick Eatman, former seventh-round pick Pat McQuistan, who recently spent time in Miami and New Orleans and is an unrestricted free agent, is expected to work out for the Cowboys at Valley Ranch on Friday.

Now we can finally win that elusive 6th Super Bowl...

HAHA you beat me to it. I was getting ready to post that McQuistan was working out for the Cowboys. I wrote in my mock draft that we would bring him back and many a folk laughed at me and said I put him in it just to please other posters.

While it would be good to have a vet backing up Smith and Free just in case something happens.

Jeremy Parnell? We don't need Pat McQuistan, I can't stand him

And you thought that trading up for Claiborne or the signing of Carr couldn't be topped? Jerry pulls another one out of the hat!

Jerry, "just when I thought you couldn't possibly be any dumber, you go and do something like this... and totally redeem yourself!"

If only Lynn Scott would come back, Plan's wet dream would be a reality.

Ok so if Smith or Free went down with an injury you are feeling good about Parnell coming in as a starter and the offense not losing a beat?

I like Parnell but I think he is still some ways off from being a starter.

That would be the greatest day in Cowboys' history and assure us of multiple Super Bowl victories.

[sigh]
Quote:

OT Pat McQuistan, a six-year veteran who spent four years (2006-09) with the Cowboys, is back after signing with the club Friday. The unrestricted free agent had a morning workout in front of coaches and scouts. To make room on the 90-man roster, the team waived undrafted rookie Taylor Dever, out of Notre Dame.
