Would love for you guys to get Hamilton, just so that pos can not give effort for y'all after he gets paid.
And it'd be easy to get him out, considering all you have to do is bounce change ups in the dirt. _________________

Yeah, very easy to get a guy out that puts up lines of .285/.354/.577
It's not Hamilton's fault that you Rangers fans can't understand that he's a streaky hitter. _________________

What was his slash line after teams figured out you don't need to throw him a single strike?
What's funny is how the season ended for him. 0/4, 2 strikeouts, double play, 8 pitches seen, 8 strikes. Only Josh could pull that off. _________________

I don't know, when did they figure it out?
April: .395/.438/.744
May: .344/.405/.781
June: .233/.318/.436
July: .177/.253/.354
August: .310/.368/.575
September: .245/.330 /.543
He had one bad month and was streaky. Bitterness and blind hate I sense in you. _________________

| I don't know i don't really feel comfortable giving Hamilton a huge contract knowing his past. |

No one is going to give him a contract without it stipulating that he doesn't fall back into that past. I'm almost sure of it. _________________

So we claimed Scott Cousins. Glad our OF problems are solved. _________________

If the arb projections for Vargas are right, and he's due 7+ million I don't see why the FO wouldn't invest that into a higher upside arm. What is Dan Haren going to cost? 6-8 million+ incentives?
Even with the fences moving in; Safeco has to be an attractive place for pitchers on a 1 year deal to regain some value, and test the market again next year. For just a few million more, we can probably swap out Vargas for Haren & a guy like Francisco Liriano.
Felix
Haren
Iwakuma
Ramirez
Liriano
That would be a rotation I would love to watch next season. _________________

Yeah, I don't get it either. Hopefully we don't give that to him. Complete waste of money.
And even if we can only get one of them, we still can insert Beavan until Paxton or Hultzen are ready for the call up. _________________

Guess the Cousins pickup makes some sense now. Darren Ford signed with the Pirates.
Cousins also has 1 option left, while Wells, Carp, & Robinson do not. So 2 of those 3 are probably gone by time the season starts. (Hopefully Carp & Trayvon)
Chavez & Chiang are also FA's. _________________

Who did that list?
Leon Landry is a little too high for me.
Stephen Romero is a little too low for me.
Victor Sanchez above Paxton and Franklin is pretty dumb as well.
Love the way Maurer is getting love from scouts now. I really like him.
When Brad Miller is your 9th best prospect, you know you've got a good lot. _________________

Yeah, I'm curious who wrote that list as well.
Besides Ogando, most of the the players can be argued in the top 20, but they're oddly ordered at the top. _________________

Even though he's clearly a huge risk, I'm happy to hear that the team is trying to improve.
It's time to start adding proven talent to this roster. Add Hamilton, trade for another bat, and let the young talent continue to develop.
If the FO does that, I think we're only a year away from being a true playoff contender. _________________
