Whats up guys? I'm in a dynasty fantasy football league and we're having our rookie only draft. In this league defensive players get 2 points per tackle so linebackers that record a lot of tackles are extremely valuable. We all know Kuechly was a tackling machine at BC but do you guys think he will continue that production with guys like Jon Beason and James Anderson around him? _________________

As to the OP, probably 100+ tackles every year he is playing. _________________

I expect him to have a season similar to what Cushing had in '09. Likely not as good of course because Cushing was a manchild but somewhere along the lines. _________________

Keuchly performed better at the combine in nearly everything. Not that combine numbers equal dominance, but he has the tools.
I'll say he has a 100+ tackles, 5 PD, 2 INTs, 2 FF, 1 Sack. |

Kuechly is a better prospect than Cushing. _________________

Maybe, but that doesn't mean he'll perform as well as him - Cushing played at an All-Pro level. That is not likely for any rookie to accomplish. _________________

Roids.
I expect Luke to have over 110 tackles, honestly. _________________

I think he's going to be our cam Newton of the defense. Not going to stand for losing and going to make big plays happen when it comes down to the wire. Funny how he was mocked to go around where we got him, but as soon as the draft is over, he's everyone's pick for most likely to be roty. Some picks are just sexier then lb I guess. _________________ http://sporting-ego.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Egocam.gif |

Our DPOY at least.
DROY nominee if we're lucky.
Possibly win DROY if injuries move him into the MLB position where he is more comfortable.
I expect him to come in and play hard. I expect him to be the kind of guy who puts the work in and improves simply due to his desire to do so. _________________ Still the only UK-based Panthers fan I know...hang on a minute...I might be the only one IN the UK! |

110 tackles
3 picks
will tackle everything and be good in coverage. not expecting many FF since he only had two in college despite racking up like 15 tackles per game. wouldn't be surprised if he got a TD either since he looks pretty damn fast when he gets his hands on the ball. _________________

And good hands are underrated for a defensive player. How many times do you see a ball get tipped or just straight up dropped on the defensive side. I guess that's why a lot of those players play defense instead of offense.
But Keuchly looks like he has some very good hands and is able to snatch the ball right out of the air like a tight end. _________________ http://sporting-ego.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/Egocam.gif |
