Okay he just won the Preakness, can this horse win the triple crown? Its only been like 33 years since the last one.

Jockey is from Surrey, B.C. where I am from so I'll be rooting for them, but all likeliness, no I don't think so.

Odds are no, he seems to wait back in the weeds until he gets an opening and then lets loose, might actually be a good strategy to win

According to his trainers hes looking very healthy after the preakness, I think this horse is gonna do it by the fact that he comes on strong at the end. Belmont is 1 1/2 miles and sets up for his strngth.

I'll be watching and hoping he pulls it off. It's definitely one thing I want to witness in my life.

Very disappointing. I was actually hyped about this.

This is disappointing news. It's good they're looking out for the horse's best interests, though.

And just like that my interest in the Belmont has vanished. It's too bad what happened but at least they aren't risking a potential tragedy on the track.

The drought of a triple crown winner continues.

It's also a business decision.

Almost all of I'll Have Another's commercial value is in the stud fees he's likely to command. Winning the Belmont will have little impact on his stud fees, so there's just too much risk and too little benefit in letting him run.

This^^

A lot of people felt I'll have another had an excellent shot at the triple crown and that speculation will continue on into his sire value.
