He also deserves to be in the HOF. To be in the top 15-20 in some career receiving categories as an UDFA is almost asinine. _________________ 1-Denver Broncos

No hes not. The receiver position is jam packed. With Chris Carter not being able to get in it will be a long time before rod even gets a chance. Plus time is working against him. Passing stats are being inflated and his numbers will look worse and worse as time goes on.
Anyways I think rod is very deserving of both. One of my favorite broncos of all time always did what was best for the team. Amazing receiver! _________________

No he isn't. Where he was drafted doesnt matter as how he'll go to the hall.
He has 3 probowls and only 2 all Pros.
WRs not in HOF that have better resumes:
Cris Carter
Jimmy Smith
Terrell Owens
Tory Holt
Marvin Harrison
Reggie Wayne
Randy Moss
Tim Brown
For sake of argument is Chad OchoCinco a HOFer? Because he is only behind by 83 receptions and 330 yrds. I also wouldn't consider Jimmy Smith a HOfer.
He's definitely deserving of this honor because he's a big piece of franchise's history but he's not a HOFer. _________________

Not a HOF'er, but a very deserving Ring of Famer and a true pro. Congrats to Rod. _________________

I'm not sure about the Hall of Fame(thats for the pundits to decide), but Rod Smith is the epitome of a player that achieves more because of all of his hard work. Every player in the league can learn from the story of Rod Smith. _________________ I long for the days when giving your word, with a firm handshake, was the "signature on the contract." |

He's my favourite Bronco of all time, and by a substantial margin too. Listening to the way his Coaches and teammates talk about him makes you love the guy so much.

My favorite player and favorite Bronco of all time. Very well deserved honor. Glad we finally did it.
However, he is not a HOFer. It's unfortunate, but he's gonna face a huge log jam and will likely never get there. Still great person, great player.
Congrats Rod _________________

cant believe jimmy smith and reggie wayne, he is still playing genius, is on that list...lmao wow what a joke.rod smith played 10 full seasons. look at his numbers, he didnt get the media attention that owens, carter, holt, and harrison got, but he does have 2 superbowl rings and was a top receiver throughout his career. |
