The only coach left who's still active and has won a SuperBowl this century.
While he’s obviously not my favourite guy, he gets the nod. |

Ron Rivera, DC
There is only one coach who has co-ordinated top 3 defenses in both 3-4 and 4-3 alignments. Rivera was the DC for the 2005 Bears (2nd overall, 1st vs. the pass) and 2010 Chargers (1st overall, 1st vs. the pass).
Considering that I plan to adapt my defense to the personnel I’m able to draft, he’s the easy choice. While there are bigger names out there, he’s the smart and versatile choice, and allows me to go BPA in the draft. |

So your pick is Mike Smith. you can take anyone and put them at any spot. So Mike Smith would be fine at DC.
